The Vegas rumors are gaining more steam. Wonder what other new cities could be added?

  • I don’t like it, but this mid March announcement lines up perfectly with the usual lollapalooza announcement. If there’s a big pay day festival that’s holding back an announcement it would be that
I think it's all too convenient and I am guessing they'll be on the lolla lineup. I'm a big Lolla fan and bigger PJ fan. Lolla is my hometown fest and I've been going since college. Lolla typically announces their lineup the third week of March so I bet we get something soon.

All for more shows! Sorry Karen, Stewart and whoever will be upset that they aren’t hitting their home shows first.  Nobody cares.  We just need shows!

That would be cool, LV, except it’s disrespectful to people holding tickets to other shows that might be bounced to the fall, if this is a real thing.
Agreed...gonna be super pissed if/when that happens
i hear you. BUT we also need to realize logistically it may make more sense to split into two legs with some additional shows sprinkled in. More shows is a good thing. Now if they announce new cities and don't give a new date or very informative update on all the 2020 shows shit might hit the fan.
I get it, I do...just super bitter for personal reasons. Have 5-6 weekends locked up in the Fall in Oct/Nov for wedding/honeymoon...if I end up holding tickets for 2 years only to have my show further pushed back to that timeframe that's a tough pill to swallow. I get that no matter what lots of people will not be able to make the new dates...just seems pretty ridiculous to add new shows ahead of people who have had their money tied up for years. It is what it is.
    Feel the same
I am lost, I'm no guide, but I'm by your side

Exactly.  There's much more to a tour than just where and when the band wants to play.

Starting to get worried about what’s going to happen here if they just announce a straight shot of rescheduled 2020 dates for May and that’s it.

    Dear Pearl Jam,
You are one of the most popular rock bands in the past thirty years.  After four long years many people in the US and Canada really want to see you play live.
Please for the love of god announce all 2022 shows at the same time! You will have no issue selling tickets.  :)

I actually really enjoy lollapalooza still. I usually go at least a day or 2 every year. I would almost rather see PJ in any other setting than lolla tho. For reasons that probably don’t make too much sense. Shorter set too.

No Lolla please! I’d rather go to Comiskey than Lolla, and that’s saying a lot. Come back to the UC and I’ve even loved the Wrigley shows, but Lolla completely sucks. Greatest hits set, short, always the hottest weekend of the summer. Anything but Lolla.

I would prefer a stand alone show too. I don’t want to deal with the Lolla  crowd just to see them. However if that is the only Chicago show, I might end up going.

True and totally agree! Fest sets suck, way to short compared to normal shows and setlist is just the greatest hits. I took a buddy to see them at SHN and he was blown away despite them playing 2/3rds of a normal set. Anything > a fest show but I'll take what I can get!
