I still think it’s disappointing they are waiting so long to give dates.  The longer the wait the more likely I will have to get a refund for 1 or more of the shows also kept me from traveling to see Ed in this tour and buying Who tickets so far.

My shows will all probably be on wednesdays hahahaha
Hold the tickets as long as you can we are almost at the finish line!

Unless we have to wait till July for the fall of course.... UGH

TM/LN will learn from this; they held back way too many tickets, and released them way too late, at too high of a price.  This tour is a Platinum and F2F test for them, for the PJ shows to be rescheduled, and others.

I'm going tomorrow night to the show. For tonight, my sister texted me at 4:30 that I can have a free pair tonight. A friend of a friend cant find anyone who will take them. I had to pass. Work stuff....sigh

I think that the situation would have been much different if they released more tickets to the Tenclub and during initial onsale. These are all seats that TIcketmaster held back for Platinum, but now are trying to get rid of at face. The Chicago map did not look like this until the last few days.
can you feel this world with your heart and not your brain?

It's pretty crazy how many they held back.  I understand platinum and why it's used.  More money for everyone. TM, promoter, and the band.  Less money for scalpers.  Still, seeing how many never got sold to fans in the first place and how aggressive they were at trying to use it.  meh.  Isn't Chicago one of the 3 largest populations in the US?  Shouldn't be that hard selling a theatre's worth of tickets.

I feel like there are a lot less people at the EV shows because of the ticketing and that makes me sad. They could have met demand for 10c tickets and presale code requests. But TM has their cash so they don’t care.

I am only one person, so my opinion doesn't matter at all, but I probably would have tried to jump at 1-2 of these shows if we had gotten the PJ shows announced earlier.  Right now, I just cant justify spending a dime on EV solo until the plans for PJ shows are released.

  • I could've gone too, but figured, 10c and TM shut me out initially, and I have tickets to 5 PJ shows; and EV new songs not that great, plus warmed over covers,->pass.
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

This may have been asked already but if PJ's original tour was the Apollo in NY and then Baltimore and then MSG in 5 days, does this mean with B-more cancelled that the Apollo may get two shows?  Or perhaps Apollo then Beacon then MSG?  Just curious how that may play into things within a short timeframe.

The orchestra seats are gone, and a lot of the top ones are limited view; by showtime most will probably be gone.

With people not traveling as much due to restrictions it’s a bit easier ticket.  I mean if COVID wasn’t a thing I’d probably be at one of these.

I love EV but let’s face it- he has two albums so far. One is a soundtrack and one is a collection of ukulele songs.  The new album comes out in a few days and the singles get little airtime. Plus many people still have COVID concerns.

I honestly dont think at this point covid has anything to do with it. Bands are playing inside and out. Seems scheduling is the issue. Everyone and there brother is putting together tours. Only so many venues. The list I posted the other day had hundreds of artist booked up for 2022. Covid is an excuse at this point. Everything is open.

At this point we have no idea what the plan is.  There’s a rumour that MSG is penciled in for the fall.

If this is true I’m sure more dates will be added assuming some of the rescheduled shows start in May.
Again this is all speculation.  I’m guessing we get an announcement tomorrow, next Tuesday or by April 30th.

Number 1 reason it suffered: no weekend show or I would be flying and buying just to hear dirty frank as it's apparely their new flagship song
  • Not sure it suffered.  Looked full and was a great time!!! Anyone going to any of the remainder shows it’s fun and worth every penny!

What I want to know is how there are so many single seats shown. Anytime I try to buy tickets, I get the message that I can't leave a single seat, so I need to choose again.

Probably over 90% full. Looks like about 94% for tonight. I wouldn't call that particularly bad. Regardless, I think ticket sales have done well enough that announcing new PJ dates isn't really going to impact them any further (as one of the hypotheses for not announcing the new PJ dates is to not impact EV sales). Maybe you'd see way more people re-listing EV tickets, but I doubt it. If that's really the reason we haven't heard anything, then, well, February 23rd is still "Early 2022".

If today were the day we would know already, one of the venues would have leaked it.
