    EV + Earthlings

Chad has dates booked through September 18, but I do expect the Earthlings to play Ohana.

Just to remember...according to TM Fan support today is the deadline to close the refund window ... and no announcement  so far.....worrisome...

"We have confirmed that the Event Organizer has postponed your event. We understand that you might not be able to make the new date when it’s announced.
The Event Organizer is offering refunds until March 3, 2022, and you should see the Request Refund option under the order in your Ticketmaster account. This option will be available until the Event Organizer either cancels or reschedules the event, at which point you will receive a new communication about the status of your order.
         1) Go back to the Event Details page in your online account
         2) Click “See Details”
         3) Select “Request Refund”
If you don’t see a refund link, please chat with us, and we will assist you with your refund.
Any and all refunds will be processed to the original method of payment used at the time of purchase, once funds are received from the Event Organizer, which is usually completed within 30 days. Please see our purchase policy for more information".
The way I read this is that the original refund window closes today, and then a new one will begin when the new dates are announced. I'm guessing that they were waiting for this period, so there is not an over lap in the windows.

Maybe i'm really behind on this, but were you all aware of the QR code - apple wallet - covid vaccine records?

I am traveling out of the country in a few weeks, and my destination accepts proof of vaccination ONLY as a QR code.  Copy or even original vaccine card is not accepted.

I google searched how to get a QR code for Virginia, and apparently every state has a record of this (the state you were vaccinated in).  All you do is type in your name and date of birth, and you get a QR code with your vaccination dates that can be downloaded onto your phone.

Felt that this was relevant to share, especially if the QR code becomes the standard for proof with travel and concerts
I used the Clear app as proof of vaxx to attend the UVA basketball game last weekend. Super simple to download and easy to use. There is also a version of the app for air travel, I believe.

    My guess how ticketing goes.

New lottery happens, all lottery winners from 2020 and 2022 are combined and seniority determines seating no matter when you bought.
Not saying I like this, having tix since 2020, but that’s just how I think it will be.
Seems like the easiest way for them to do it.
    0% chance this happens.
So that means you know the way it will play out.  Do tell.
I'm guessing (and agree) that he thinks there'll be no new lottery for rescheduled shows. Those who held their tickets still have them. All refunded tickets will be resold by Ticketmaster at some point.

A new lottery and reassigning seats that people are currently holding is just not realistic.

I’m currently holding and can confirm seats were never assigned….never made it that far.
Seats were absolutely assigned in 2020. Maybe you didn't log in to see where yours were but they definitely showed up in your tickets.

Where do we suppose the platinum pricing for a pair of refunded MSG GA tickets will start?

Did we not learn with the Earthlings tour wait until the last minute, prices are too high or no one is going? I dont know. Im doing that. Ill absolutely be at MSG.

Some of us have to travel for these shows. It's not always feasible to wait until the day of the show to get tickets.
Yep. If it is a show I can drive to in a few hours, that might be a gamble I am willing to take. Not if I have a flight and hotel and then hope something shakes loose.

Ontario only accepts QR codes for proof of vaccination.
That is dropping in sometime this month though correct? Vaccinated or not you will be able to get into Scotiabank Arena?
Scotiabank arena DOES NOT require it.... anyone can get in.

The only time I'd risk this is if it's somewhere we're either already going or wouldn't mind spending some time. As PJNB points out, unless the show's in Illinois or New York and they decide to go with F2F, tickets might be available, but they'd still be face value (which is still preferable over scalper prices).

I'd have a hard time committing to travel without tickets.

"You dragged me to Oklahoma City and we don't even have tickets to the show?" is not a phrase one wants to hear their wife say.

I don’t like it, but this mid March announcement lines up perfectly with the usual lollapalooza announcement. If there’s a big pay day festival that’s holding back an announcement it would be that

Sure, but I wouldn't consider that traveling for Pearl Jam. There are plenty of cities we'd love to visit, but if we were going to one specifically for a show, I would have a hard time committing to that without tickets.

Holding back announcing the rescheduled dates due to announcing a new festival date, I find hmmm…what’s the right word…annoying, to put it mildly. But then again I’m just a fan with tix in hand, who cares about me.

Probably will be forced to drop at least one show (out of the 3) I have tickets to. Flights/hotels aren’t looking nearly as cheap as they were in 2020.
