    My guess how ticketing goes.

New lottery happens, all lottery winners from 2020 and 2022 are combined and seniority determines seating no matter when you bought.
Not saying I like this, having tix since 2020, but that’s just how I think it will be.
Seems like the easiest way for them to do it.
    0% chance this happens.
So that means you know the way it will play out.  Do tell.
I'm guessing (and agree) that he thinks there'll be no new lottery for rescheduled shows. Those who held their tickets still have them. All refunded tickets will be resold by Ticketmaster at some point.

A new lottery and reassigning seats that people are currently holding is just not realistic.

I’m currently holding and can confirm seats were never assigned….never made it that far.
???   We got seat assignments back in 2020.
I never did for St Louis?
    Do you have GA?

  • I can't see them not playing any shows in May. In November, they announced that was their plan. To back out on that two months prior to the dates would be a bad look.

I've cut them a lot of slack because I don't have a job that requires me to schedule vacations ahead of time and I really don't have all that much going on in life that can't be moved around. And the show I have tickets to was already rumored to be in the fall anyways. But they need to play some shows in May. If they back out on that now.....ugh
I think at the very least, the Apollo show happens in May.

Check your Ticketmaster account.  If you have tickets the seat locations will be on the tickets.  As others said, seat locations were assigned back in 2020 after the lottery.

    Damn nice seats!

Also for those interested in Ohana and possibly Encore the Double Tree hotel that blocks off rooms for those weekends in advance is doing the same thing this year for the weekends of Sep 23rd and Sep 30th. They are the ones that had the Encore weekend available last year up until June then blocked it off so something is likely up there. You might want to block off the Oct 7th weekend too just in case these dates are wrong.

For what it's worth (which is probably nothing) the order on TM has changed yet again, and all the North America dates are now after the Europe dates

So they’ll play the US in the fall following their thrice canceled European tour (assuming the conflict between Russia and Ukraine escalates). Then some new variant can shit all over fall tour. Two years of plans getting canceled has really worn on me and has made me a complete pessimist.

    See you in 2042

This is why if there are shows this May I am jumping on them. I think Europe and fall will happen but taking what I can get when I can get it with concerts is my strategy at the moment.

It would not surprise me in the least. What would surprise me is if we got any more explanation than, "It didn't work out" and some tepid promise to "make it up to the fans". I've been trying to figure out what the Baltimore cancellation announcement reminded me of, and it finally came to me:

"We don’t have any words and we know you don’t want to hear them. We understand your anger, your frustration, your sadness. Everything you’re feeling – we get it. This isn’t the [tour] we imagined, and certainly not the one we wanted. Thank you for being there the entire way." -Tampa Bay after getting swept by the Blue Jackets (Though, to be fair, after tweeting this out, TB did go out and win back-to-back Cups, so maybe PJ/10 Club will do whatever the equivalent of that is.)

"I'm a lucky man, to count on both hands the [shows I've done]. Some folks just have one, others they got none..."

I'll see if/where/when the May shows are and what gets announced for the Fall. I can't see us breaking the bank on flights and hotels for them this year, though. Hopefully New England gets some shows.

I kinda forgot about this too.  Just checked my tickets for STL and I have Section C, 6 rows right behind GA on the floor.  Unfortunately prob won't be able to make it since baby #3 is due at the end of May....maybe I could swing a quick night away if this ends up being early May.  Doubtful at this point.

I am surprised we didn’t find out this week.  I guess I shouldn’t have been though.   They give us great shows and great seats, but have little regard for communicating timely with fans.   Sometimes you just have to pick a tour and go with it instead of waiting to the last possible moment to maximize convenience for the five band members at the expense of the people paying for all of it.  At least that is how I have always seen it.

It's actually ok to know that something won't happen and still not be sure of what will happen. While I understand why you proposed what you did; that's a lot of effort from a lot of parties that just won't do the work.

Just to remember...according to TM Fan support today is the deadline to close the refund window ... and no announcement  so far.....worrisome...

"We have confirmed that the Event Organizer has postponed your event. We understand that you might not be able to make the new date when it’s announced.
The Event Organizer is offering refunds until March 3, 2022, and you should see the Request Refund option under the order in your Ticketmaster account. This option will be available until the Event Organizer either cancels or reschedules the event, at which point you will receive a new communication about the status of your order.
         1) Go back to the Event Details page in your online account

    Seriously though. You would have.
I have my 10C seat assignments for Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, Hamilton and Oakland.
    1996.....Toronto
    2005.....Hamilton
    2011.....Toronto N1, Toronto N2, Hamilton
    2013.....London, Buffalo
    2014.....Detroit
    2016.....Toronto N1 Toronto N2, Boston  N1, Boston N2, Chicago N1
    2018.....Seattle N1, Seattle N2
2022.....San Diego, Los Angeles N1, Los Angeles N2, Phoenix, Oakland N1, Oakland N2, Quebec City, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto
    2023.....Fort Worth N1, Fort Worth N2, Austin N1, Austin N2
    2024.....Las Vegas N1, Las Vegas N2, Los Angeles N1, Los Angeles N2, Boston N1, Boston N2
    2025.....????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Ok, 1% it happens. And if it does, the band can go fuck themselves lol.

I've been patiently holding onto GA Pit tickets for  Denver and good seats for San Diego. I'm one of the lucky "higher number" fan club members that signed up before the 2020 ticket lotto and somehow was fortunate enough to snag GA for Denver and some really really really awesome seats for the San Diego show.

I've received countless emails from 10c, Ticketmaster, etc stating my tickets would be valid for the rescheduled shows.

If they fuck this up and decide to do a new lottery for everyone who's been holding onto their tickets  for the last two years that will be the last straw for me.

How many people are going to see that refund deadline and get their money back today only to see those tickets resold at new price points next week? Just an ugly situation.

And there's absolutely no way another refund window won't be opened once (or maybe I should say if) new dates are announced. It would be a completely unethical business practice otherwise.
    So, folks should wait.

I’d love to think that today’s the day based on that 3/3 that someone once received, but I’ve been disappointed too many times to think it could be the case.

I'm holding on. It's frustrating, but at the same time I could understand the logistical fuckery they've been dealing with for 2 years. C'mon date night!!!
