Imagine criticizing Eddie Vedder's voice when the lead singer of your group is Vince Neil? 

Eddie mentioning Motley Crue in a NY times piece is the best thing that could have happened for them. Pearl Jam plays sold out shows on their own while Motley Crue will be playing half empty ball parks with 3 other bands from their era this summer.
