oh yeah...I get the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak....very good

Not as good as Penn Station though (talking beef cheese steak...Penn doesn't have a huge variety like JM).  I'm in central IN so Penn is the best I can get close to home.

Waaaaaay off topic for this thread, but at times we’ve been known to talk about other random Philly food here.

My girlfriend and I are in the process of buying a home right now and we are heavily thinking about relocating from Olde Kensington to East Kensington. We were scoping out the area today and stopped at “Hello Donuts + Coffee” which had great reviews. These fuckers were awesome. Very different, but every bit as good as Federal Donuts and maybe even better. They also use Reanimator coffee so that’s probably great as well.

If you’re in Philly and in the mood for a donut, do yourself a favor and check these guys out.

Congrats on being close to settling on a home! The whole Riverwards area is having quite the moment right now.

Good to see this place getting some love. And, yes, the Pooh Bear is legit.

Haha “We were born and raised on this stuff,” says Nick, “because none of us went to Pat’s and Geno’s. None of us.”

He's got a sandwich named after Henry George. That's some nerd shit right there that I can get behind.

That’s a good spot. I was surprised by how much LeBan liked it though. I don’t think they were doing jt when he had the review, but the Doritos chicken cutlet is actually awesome.

I am hoping to finally try this Curly's place out in Levittown tonight, weather permitting. Odd place for a good cheesesteak, I know. But I have heard nothing but rave reviews. You gotta call in an order around 1 to have it ready for pick up by 6ish. They're always crazy busy.

Actuarially I'm approximately halfway towards my goal of never visiting Levittown my entire life.

This was something else. One of the better cheesesteaks I have had. Only beef is I am more a fan of the thinly sliced pork roll and would've preferred it chopped up more. Also, this fucking thing was enormous. I couldn't even finish it. BUT if you ever find yourself lost in Levittown, I highly recommend giving this place a shot. They even have a drive through so you don't even have to set foot in that area. The ol' in and out.

Looks ridiculously good.  My only beef would also be the thickness of the pork.  Thin for the win!

Steak was Not picworthy, but Carmen's Deli is a place with a few locations nearby.  Cheese steak was substantial.  Felt like they took a big old steak and chopped it up.  Kid gave it a thumbs up.
I'd say an 8, which is strong.

The fucking bomb Sammie, though, is called Rose's Special

It was a little on the greasy side for chicken -- I mean, look at that bread; this wasn't a french dip! -- but definitely tastydelicious.

(I could not eat the whole thing.)
