Medford is very close by....some beautiful spots in Medford / Medford Lakes.
    That does look good.
Interesting menu and not all Philly stuff.  (Some Chicago lean, it looks like?)

I like onions. Are they not a cheesesteak staple? I like them on cold sammies as well. Probably not with mortadella. And agree I prefer my steak chopped up.
They are. I think they're just talking about raw onions on a hoagie though....but I still think that's crazy talk.
Raw onions on a hoagie is the worst part of a hoagie. That and and shitty shredded lettuce.
    You order without?
I like both of those things.  Prefer different lettuce but shredded berg works OK.

My wife used to add lettuce and tomatoes to cheesesteak.   That is bullshit.  Lol.
I like a steak and cheese sub with lettuce, tomato, pickles, grilled onions, and ketchup. I also like the steak to be a thicker slice - not the Steak-Ums style.
You properly call this a steak and cheese sub.
    Hope you enjoy!
    Its called a cheesesteak hoagie.

You should walk out of the store if they use shredded lettuce and presliced stringy onions. Thats a telltale sign they have no clue.

State lines may not matter, but I have had some of the best sandwiches in South Jersey. Primos before Camden shows? Yes please.

Several participants in this chain have shared lists and articles referencing the many awesome steak places in SJ.
The comment about the authority is the bs way you comment here on all things like you know something the rest of us don't.
Not offended, just think that is trash behavior and noted.
    You do you.

don’t know if this is a philly sandwich but I got it at a dive bar with new food from a philly guy.

billed as the south street (philly?) slaughterhouse. pretty good. had a wasabi-like kick but it wasn’t wasabi.

Yeah that looks pretty good for Utah for sure. Looks like a cheesesteak base with roast pork type additions, and sounds like some kind of horseradish spread giving the kick.
