This is most certainly not a cheesesteak, but comes to you from Cheesesteak Land. This place is called Good Hatch and their sandwiches are fucking amazing:

No cheesesteaks. Can't find link. It's the one with the tick-tock diners. They did pay our bill!

New venture at Reading Terminal from the folks at Pearl's, DaNics, and Angelo's.
    Anyone try it?
May have to check out for lunch tomorrow

Yeah that one’s going to be a must try. In the meantime, I got a mortadella hoagie from Breezy’s deli and it was awesome.

Yeah it was pretty awesome. I think they’re somewhat new and are flying under the radar for the time being. All of their sandwiches look awesome.

    @ Reading Terminal Market
    Fucking bomb.
As good as the Roast Pork from DaNic's is, in RTM, I'd never be upset about this being an option.
The bread....just like Angelo's, it is in the family, and to me is a difference maker.
    Cooper, as well.
    Super good
No line as I checked out of my hotel next door and demo's this, before the Uber ride back across the river.
RtM is already one of the best food things in Philly.  This adds a great steak to the roster

Wow that looks great! Also, it doesn’t look like it’s just a copy of Angelo’s, right? It seems like much larger slices of meat.

    Correct.
I dare I say I like it more, but I reserve the right to change as it has been forever since I had an Angelo's steak.

I prefer more finely chopped meat, but I would def give that a shot.

Hoagie looks awesome too. Is that pesto and some hot peppers on there?

There’s a lot going on there. Pistachio pesto, hot pepper relish, dried herbs, and their “hoagie sauce” which is the mayo looking part. It was also supposed to have onions and arugula but I opted out of those.

Arugula is a no-go....but keep those onions in there man.

    That's a hell of a sandwich. Congrats!

Pistachio spread on focaccia with mortadella has been very popular here in NYC.  A shop from florence made it popular. Never tried it though.

Can’t do onions at all. One of my most hated foods.

Yeah imo onions (can) kill a hoagie.

I like onions. Are they not a cheesesteak staple? I like them on cold sammies as well. Probably not with mortadella. And agree I prefer my steak chopped up.

They are. I think they're just talking about raw onions on a hoagie though....but I still think that's crazy talk.

I like them on almost anything. Even an onion bagel. Pickled on a taco? Yes please.
