Here in Ontario - some restrictions being lifted soon... with a goal of no restrictions in March!
As of now, March 15th onward no capacity restrictions but they’re keeping masking and vaccination requirements.

Yesterday, Elton John moved his February 14th and 15th dates to March 12th and 13th. Now they’ll need to be moved again. Kacey Musgrave moved from January to February and will have to reschedule/cancel. Billie Elish too; hope Pearl Jam has some dates locked in with all these other dates moving.

I'm starting to think we won't hear anything about rescheduled PJ shows until the EV tour is finished.

Jeff did say in that radio interview that his shows were a bit of a test on how they would proceed.

How are things looking in Ontario (numbers, hospitalizations/ICU, deaths)? I’m in Manitoba and things here seem to lag behind you guys by a couple weeks.
Things are really starting to stabilize... most key metrics are on a decline - some rather significantly.  Province just announced moments ago: March 14th - no capacity indoors.................. lets go PJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  MAY!!!!!! :)

Fall is the safe bet with restrictions likely to be better and going along with the east coast tour similar to 2016

I think we know the most about the next 2 to 3 months.  Assuming much past that is folly based on recent history.  If there's a window in May, they need to pounce on it and get as many done as possible to honor these tickets.

Exactly! The restrictions have been pretty intense out there. Soon we will see new rules where if you don't have your booster shot ( 3 COVID vaccine needles), you won't be able to enter certain places. :/

I am on board with the above "restriction".

Didn’t Brad just have surgery tho? Was wondering if it’s more because of that

This is my thought too. If we are ‘clear’ mid March, I’d rather the date was in May. Instead of announcing like November where we have 6/7 months of waiting. Who knows where we’ll be next fall.

Nobody knows if and when they'll tour. Partly exciting, partly harrowing! I'm ready for my rescheduled St.Louis date night show so I can cash out on live PJ moving forward.

I’m not a doctor but I doubt a knee surgery in early December would affect a tour in March, and if it would, they would have known that before now.  They didn’t say this postponement was due to Omicron, but that’d be my guess.

didn't pj already announce the re-scheduled 2020 tour to start in May? Have they said anything different since, no. So what is the problem? Ed is touring in a couple weeks, long before May. The hype around omicron is already losing steam. Certainly Ed believes so or he wouldn't be touring in a couple weeks.

Dates were set before Omicron dude. He didn't schedule them as they are because he knew Omicron would "lose steam". Also, not sure where you live, but Delta and Omicron are hardly losing steam here in the mid-west.

Yeah I’m done factoring these guys into my planning.  I’ll consider a last second ticket if I have the desire but after two cancellations I’ll take the “I’ll believe it when I see it” approach.
