    Not to derail this thread…respectfully, how do you and your wife know it was the omicron variant? Usually, the determination of variant is not provided to the patient; as it is a separate test that usually is only provided to local and state governments. That’s how it was explained to me by my primary care physician in Virginia…after I asked which variant when I tested positive at the end of September.

    Masks work dude. Our campus was riding a 3 week no case tide. Campus then made masks optional. One unvaxxed person went to choir practice sick and I ended up contact tracing 30 people yesterday. 15 unvaxxed people without masks are on a 10 day isolation all sick as fuck. The others? All vaxxed and masked and 1 person got Delta and it’s very very mild. I hate reading your posts @Spartanacus People like you have created a shit show for people like me.

    My daughter spent 12 months going to preschool five days a week from July 2020 through July 2021. I’m pretty sure that, yes, those kids were about as diligent about wearing their masks as you’d expect. But you know what? Not only were there no COVID outbreaks, we’ve barely had so much as a runny nose in my house for going on two years now. Even the most basic amount of masking/social distancing makes a huge impact in the spread of COVID or any other airborne virus.

    Can someone please comment on my attempt to will a January Baltimore show into existence? After two years nobody is going to change anybody’s mind about Covid policies.

    20 or so tour dates a year is really not far from the reality these days, at best.  So a Seattle semi-residency would increase their reach to the fans imo.  Personally I'd love to go to Seattle for Pearl Jam weekends every now and again.

    Still see them hitting the road,...but time is a ticking , and their pledge to reduce enviro impact would probably be a major consideration.

    Generally yeah. There is a long list of groups that usually get tickets before they actually go on sale. It can include the band (for friends and family), promoter, venue, manager, record label, business partners (band and venue), fan club etc etc etc
