Were there any songs/parts Ed didnt play that he usually does now that Josh was helping?  Or was it more additional layers on top of the norm?

Not that I noticed; I think it was just the latter. The only real differences I noticed were stronger background vocals and the tempo of certain songs.

I think Ed played guitar on Superblood for the album. His tiny animated self did at least.

I liked the slightly slowed down tempo of some of the songs (corduroy, present tense, even flow).
The drums on the intro to Corduroy being more reminiscent of the album version was kind of cool. Not that I didn’t like what Matt did before, but nice to change it up in that way.

Agreed! It was cool hearing live renditions of corduroy, GTF, even flow, etc. that sounded closer to the album versions.

The Klinghoffer haters are probably still waiting for Dave A to come back too
    Why would that be?
Cos’ they pine for a version of the band that has been gone for a long, long time now and don’t like anything new happening to Pearl Jam

Josh Klinghoffer and Chad Smith are credited on Eddie’s Long Way track. Not sure if that was reported around here or not but if you play the track on Apple Music with the lyrics on you see the song writing credit at the end. For me personally not sure I am a fan of the add and assume it’s just for these festival dates to throw him a bone for missing out on the opener gig in spring 2020.

So there's a shortage of everything in this world...but not on guitar players in Pearl Jam. Cool.

Pearl Jam fans are a passionate group. Let's leave room here for dissenting opinions, be they about Josh, COVID or polls about pooping at work.

Wait I didn't read the thread, who's this Josh person?
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

The dude who had not turned down the lights in the Evenflow music video, and then went on to produce Gigaton.
