Thanks for sharing. It's a little disappointing to know that I may have almost gotten to see Jack play a song with PJ at Ohana. I kind of thought that was a possibility going into it. Not that the article says that was going to happen, but it sounds like it was as possible as ever. Cool article though.
words seem so out of place.

This thread is still going? LOL

He was awesome with them last weekend and it just adds another layer. I truly do not understand why people have such an issue with him being on stage. If I were a betting man, I'd say get used to it....I imagine he'll join them for the rescheduled dates as well.
I thought that it was made clear that his most important role was playing dominoes with Mike?

He bought me pie. He's golden in my eyes forever.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.
  • Josh killed it tonight in Fort Worth.
  • It might be blasphemy, but the guys elevated without MC to a level I haven’t seen in years. Not MC fault, or that Josh is better, but it lit a fire that I think the entire audience felt.

I was surprised when they played way past 11pm. That’s usually a hard curfew during the week. But tonight’s show didn’t end until almost 11:30pm.

Well one thing is for certain, whoever made the final call to get Josh on board playing live with the band, it was a masterstroke on so many levels.

I live in DFW and have been going to concerts here for decades. I cannot ever remember a show going past 11pm unless it was a Friday or Saturday.

Yeah, I mean whatever they are paying him, he's more than earned it. He's saved them from at least 3 cancellations (where I'm sure the band eats a lot of money) and can more than hold his own in that role. What a great addition

Not only is Josh a great musician, but he is a very nice person.  I met with him and his former band mate in a business setting around 20 years ago, and to this day, he remembers my name, and always comes up to say hello when we run into each other at various gigs in Los Angeles.

Its great to hear stories like this.
  • Josh sat in our row in Sec 113 at Chi N1 to watch some of Inhaler's set.  I talked to him a little bit, and he seemed like a nice, normal guy.  (Which wasn't what I was expecting.)
I've seen quite a few Pearl Jam shows.

  • From all the spinning, and crawling around on stage, I thought he'd be a bit more eccentric.
