That press release is bollocks. This is not the first time since the original release. There is the 2016 reissue. And Bob Ludwig mastered the 2016 reissue as well. And I really doubt this is a double disc. Have a close look at the picture. It‘s the same labels.

I guess it‘s a simple repress of the 2016 cut on clear vinyl.

    Nothing to be excited about.
Why would they put 2LPs in the photo then?
The order weight also states 3 pounds.

It showed up again on the site a few minutes ago and had it in my cart twice, but both times said sold out at checkout. Now says sold out on the main page again.
It was just a tease.  It wasn't available again.  If it was, you could've checked out.

Surely an easy situation to avoid. I've no idea how many 10C members there are, but why not manufacture that number of LPs and then offer each and every 10C member (or even those that are members for 2 or more years) an option to buy with a week's window.

Then, sell off the unsold copies. Everyone's surely a winner in that case. I only found out about this from a friend. I actually received the email notification AFTER the records were sold out.

Just another example of artificially driven demand by 10C feeding flippers. I also bet we see multiple copies of this up for Vitalogy Foundation auctions

Unlikely, since it is sold out again, and no one could get past cart to shipping, let alone check out.

They don't need to put an add to cart button BEFORE they actually release something.

Lots of websites go through rounds like this while putting stuff back up. Not saying I have big hopes but it's not unusual.

I hear you, but shopify is pretty good with inventory control.

If there is an add to cart button, it should be available, unless it's a super limited drop and 1000s are trying at once.

I guess they could've sold a handful more when they added the button again, but usually shopify says sold out when it is sold out.

True, but something around the fifth post in this thread is Santos saying less than 200 copies left. So I'm not overly hopeful.

I hear you. The thing is not even pressed though, so it's really up to them. Again no big hopes.

@Santos L. Halper Is this really mastered by Bob Ludwig for vinyl? Or by one of his employees? Bob stepped down from mastering vinyl some time ago. If he really did this release, it would be huge.
The last reissue was mastered by RL and cut by Krieg.  I'm guessing this is the same mix.
Yes it is hysterical that they basically copy and pasted the same marketing blurb from the 2016.

    Todays listing:
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of No Code, Pearl Jam reissues No Code on 150-gram CLEAR vinyl. This is the first time the album has been available on the format since its original release and the first time the album is being mastered specifically for vinyl, by Grammy Award-winning engineer Bob Ludwig. It features recreations of their original packaging, including the set of nine random replica Polaroids/lyric cards

The 1996 sessions for No Code featured longtime producer Brendan O'Brien (his third consecutive collaboration with the band) and drummer Jack Irons, who’d joined the band at the end of the Vitalogy sessions. They explored new approaches to writing and recording, developing songs out of jam sessions and eschewing their stadium-grunge style for self-examining ballads, garage rock and even psychedelic sounds. No Code became the band’s third consecutive No. 1 album, with lead single "Who You Are" topping Billboard’s Modern Rock chart.
