My wife uses the air fryer for the cauliflower "wings." Good stuff.

Yeah, I had the convection going, which is basically a larger air fryer.
Does she dip them in some batter before putting them in or just spice them and then toss them?
(That all sounds like too much)
I dont know. I think she just spices them. Not really as crispy as you'd like so perhaps some batter is in order

Damn, you guys sure steered me right with Honolulu Fish Co!
Night one ...it was a bit overwhelming to get set up and try to play sushi chef.  I ate from my board, mostly, and made rolls and sushi for my wife and kid.
Surprised to find that I enjoyed making the handrolls the most.  We had lot of things to add and it was easy/fun to whip up.  My favorite was probably a no-rice roll on soy paper.

Wrapping up and getting ready for tomorrow....

Also, I  out of sriracha so for spicy tuna I substituted some gringo bandito.  I was awesome.  I need to make that sauce for everything.

    Round 2.
Did mostly sashimi and didn't picture out as much.  Did take a few....poke tomorrow, I believe.

My inside out game needs lots of work.  A number of years ago I could make a mean one.  Now it was big and chunky - but tasted very good.

Good stuff. I started to learn Japanese in 5th and 6th grade but didn’t stick with it unfortunately. Thread integrity...I do love Japanese food. Such a clean and healthy way of eating.

Dude, this is all incredibly impressive.  Want to know more about the hand rolls, and all the rolls, of what went into them.
