I don't think 2021 is going to have concerts. I really hope I am wrong but I just don't see it happening. At least in the US.
I don’t think public health officials will sign off on capacity indoor shows until 75% of people are vaccinated, unless the treatment drugs become highly effective and available, which could happen first. All we can do is wait and see. Sooooo frustrating!
The other thing that could happen to start up events sooner, is that you would need to show some kind of proof of vaccination to fly, go to public gatherings etc... might be a cost of doing business.

There’s a lot of guesswork in all this. Just for one example, Elton John is currently scheduled to restart on 01 Sep 21. That seems like it might work, if the vaccines are approved soon.PJ: 2013: London (ON); Buffalo; 2014: Cincinnati; 2016: Sunrise, Miami, Toronto 1-2, Wrigley 2; 2018: London (UK) 1, Milan, Padova, Sea 2, Wrigley 1-2, Fenway 1-2; 2021: SHN, Ohana, Ohana Encore 1-2; 2022: LA 1-2, Phx, Oak 1-2, Fresno, Copenhagen, Hyde Park 1-2; Quebec, Ottawa, Hamilton, Toronto; MSG, Camden, Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis, OKC; 2023: St. Paul 1-2, Chicago 1-2; Fort Worth 2; Austin 1-2; 2024: Vancouver 1-2, LV 1-2, LA 1-2, Napa, Barcelona 1-2; Indy; Chicago 1-2; MSG 1-2; Philly 2; Boston 2; Ohana 1-2; 2025: FL 1-2, ATL 1-2, Nash 1-2, Pit 1-2.

One thing to keep in mind is Pearl Jam is not going to be one of the first groups to rush out and start having concerts again. They were one of the first big acts to cancel their tour and will be one of the last to return. That's why I see 2021 as unlikely.0

Or they may just call it quits.
And only do the one off charity performances every few years.

That went dark fast :(I always kind of felt like PJ would keep going until they couldn't. They've always been pretty good at figuring out the balance that lets them continue (shorter small tours etc..). I bet the unwanted time off will make them jones more to play live. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.I would of said PJ wouldn't be the kind of band to schedule in dates, that they would have to bump yet a 2nd time, but next summers Euro tour seems questionable. I would hope they tour in 2022.I also expect a lot of bands will be jonesing to do live shows when the pandemic ends. Either because they haven't played in years, they need the income, or they want to make sure their crew gets paid. I feel like the competition for venues and fan's ticket money will be high that first year (or two) after the pandemic ends.

I’m optimistic we’ll see some shows next fall. Especially with vaccines rolling out soon. I think Ohana happens at the end of September. Outdoors, smaller venue, 10 months from now. I am really hopeful for this.0

Agree. I think Ohana is the next PJ show and I'm glad I have tickets. I'd love for the rollout to go quickly and get to use my Budapest tix but I'm not betting on it.This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0

Spring 2021 is completely out. I think there is still some degree of hope for Europe Summer 2021 depending on how this winter goes and how the vaccines are distributed. The logistics of the EU tour are already planned, dates announced, tickets sold, etc, which saves a huge step on the bands end. I bet they haven't even begun to try and re plan the canceled US Spring 2020 dates (rightfully so). I would look for the canceled US shows to be coordinated next fall around Ohana and Sea.Hear.Now.2010: Cleveland
