    If you want to blame the American voter for not electing better politicians, have at it, but letting politicians off the hook who have been lying to the public since day one is asinine.

    Trump didn't bring coronavirus to America, and he isn't the reason why so many Americans lead unhealthy lifestyles, but he absolutely should be held accountable for his endless lies and conspiracy theories.

    We're 8 months into this pandemic, and they still haven't come up with a nation wide testing or tracing program. THAT is a direct fault of the federal government for which they should be held accountable.

    I got two tests: the rapid test (got a call within 30 minutes) then the more advanced test.  I needed my results from the advanced test in order to go back to work.  Found out the advanced test results about 10:30 this morning.

    So yesterday I took a day off bc I felt a little sick over the weekend. Today I went to work and they said I sounded sick. Just very mild symptoms that normally shouldn't be thought about.
    Well, I went home for my colleague's safety and am now waiting for a call to my doctor. I'm not allowed to appear there, I've heard that someone has to pick up the tests for me and I have to do it myself. ??? ... could take 4 to 5 days to see results and that means I will be quarantined for the rest of the week.  uhh

    yep, we had a conference call today with management saying they are hearing that hospitals and surgery centers in MO may shut down for the next couple of weeks. they told us to "brace for it". my company said that they will do a little quota relief for any of us that are impacted. i hope it doesn't come to shutting down, but i think we have to because our state government and our people outside of major city suburbs refuse to do anything to try to get a handle on it. so frustrating.

    Ireland will be the first EU country to return to coronavirus lockdown, Prime Minister Micheal Martin said Monday, issuing a nationwide "stay at home" order but insisting schools will stay open.

    Measures coming into effect for six weeks from midnight on Wednesday will see all non-essential retail businesses close and bars and restaurants limited to takeaway or delivery service only.

    Only essential workers will be "permitted to travel to work," he said, and citizens will be allowed out to exercise only within three miles of their residence.

    Wales will impose a two-week "fire-break" lockdown from Friday in which everybody apart from essential workers must stay at home to combat an accelerating second wave of COVID-19.

    Welsh First Minister Mark Drakeford said he understood that people were tired of coronavirus restrictions but tougher rules were essential as critical care units were already full.

    "It will have to be sharp and deep in order to have the impact we need," Drakeford told reporters. "Everyone in Wales will be required to stay at home."

    Not sure why they had signs posted saying “No photos or videos allowed”.

    you aren't supposed to photograph or film medical workers doing their jobs. people used to try to film me all the time when I was pulling pins out of a kid's elbow or cutting off a cast. even doing post op wound care. If something goes wrong that is evidence that can be used in court.
