Look it's a shortened season and we're about a 1/3 through already. But why the hell is no one here talking about Harper and Nola? Cause they've been really fucking good so far.0

They're both looking great. Harper is second in the league in OPS and Nola is second in the league in WHIP.Jearlpam0925 said:Look it's a shortened season and we're about a 1/3 through already. Coin toss he gets on base every time he comes to the plate, near 1200 OPS, 1:1 BB/SO ratio, stealing some bags. Pretty fucking good.
Nola's running a K/9 near 13, the whip is nasty - season can turn in a hearbeat sure but they're really fucking good right now.
But if they can't make a playoff tournament where 8 teams get in I still think - even in a compromised season where the world is going through the greatest event since World War 2 - that Klentak will (should) get fired.
And if they do make it the first round is 3 games. Very promising with Nola and Wheeler at the top.0 -
Every team is one swinging dick reserve outfielder getting the Rona away from seeing their season fried.
Such a strange seasonThe love he receives is the love that is saved0 -
Absolutely. Doesn't change the fact that I can be lulled right back into believing everything's just fine-just-fine in The World of Sportz Ball!F Me In The Brain said:Every team is one swinging dick reserve outfielder getting the Rona away from seeing their season fried.

I have not been able to get into the season as much as normal but it is nice to see this lineup start to rake.
Wheeler and Nola are looking like that 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation we were hoping for too...
Back to back sweeps maybe? GO PHILS!www.myspace.com0 -

Obama speaking in Philly is pretty dope. That’s an awesome building.0

American Revolution museum? That's actually a decent museum, too. 95% sure if you have a Phl library card as a city resident you get free admission (whenever that may be again).0

I was actually hoping Joe would've spoke from Philly instead of Wilmington. Guess that is off the table now .www.myspace.com0

I really like that museum. I have a weird attachment to it as I rode the bus by it for every step of it being built. I enjoy the museum.Jearlpam0925 said:American Revolution museum? Wilmington makes more sense for him, but his headquarters is in Philly I think, right? The Juggler said:I was actually hoping Joe would've spoke from Philly instead of Wilmington. Guess that is off the table now .0 -
No idea, I would think not? City has a shit ton of great resources (of course not during a global pandemic that is).Cliffy6745 said:

Joe's in Milwaukee right? That's where the DNC is and he was on stage with Kamala last night. The Jill/Joe segment (also very good) was recorded, like many of these things.
But personally I would not want them in Philly in any shape or form. They need to be concentrating on Pennsyltucky, not super blue Philly.0 -
Yeah I know geographically it does. PA is more important and DE obviously. And I was just thinking it would come off better on tv to do it at the Liberty Bell or some place like that, as opposed to an empty arena like Harris was at last night.Cliffy6745 said:

Headquarters is in Philly, but I would assume it's been basically at his house for the last few months.www.myspace.com0 -
Good point JP. He should do it in Scranton.www.myspace.com0

I think he needs to go deeper. Like fuckin' Johnstown or Potter County or some other boonie.0 -
They were in Wilmington last night. I was assuming that's where he'll be tonight.Jearlpam0925 said:

It's all very weird with any campaigning, given the circumstances. I've been trying to figure out a way for both the election and census and it's hard. Other than my crippling anxiety of knocking on the door of a neighbor's home I enjoy it. But right now doing anything more than text or phone banking feels way too intrusive. I think for now on I'm just going to use one of those trash pickers on a 10 foot pole to knock on a door and hand material.0
