I live in a diverse city in a diverse neighborhood where white kids are a minority in the college bound high school and where 99% of graduates go to college. Our local and state government is responsive to the minority communities needs. My city elected a gay mayor and Hispanic mayors. We have reasonable gun control laws and accountable law enforcement and criminal justice. Is it perfect? No but it’s a hell of a lot better than some of these other places in the US.
I wonder what the crime rate was in Seattle in the chop zone month to month year over year, comparatively? People are shot to death everyday in ‘Murica, why during a protest or within CHOP is any different? I live in a diverse city in a diverse neighborhood where white kids are a minority in the college bound high school and where 99% of graduates go to college. Our local and state government is responsive to the minority communities needs. My city elected a gay mayor and Hispanic mayors. We have reasonable gun control laws and accountable law enforcement and criminal justice. Is it perfect? No but it’s a hell of a lot better than some of these other places in the US.
I wonder what the crime rate was in Seattle in the chop zone month to month year over year, comparatively? People are shot to death everyday in ‘Murica, why during a protest or within CHOP is any different? Is Chicago going to fall next?
