How do you feel about Trump tweeting his white power supporters this morning?
I do not think Trump is a white supremacist. I think white supremacists are about 0.0001% of the population. This is just crap clogging up the internet. White supremacists have no place in today's society and they've been weeded out. Stop trying to act like they have a voice.
How can you say that white supremacists have no voice when the President of the United States retweets a video of one of his supporters shouting "white power"??
    Seriously?

    That's some next-level cognitive dissonance...

It doesn’t matter if the White Supremacists make up 0.000000000000000000000001%.  Trumpster Fire has never denounced this group of haters and continues to poignantly tweet defense of the Confederate Flag and tries to shame Bubba Wallace.  Etc. Etc. Etc.  If it talks like a duck...

The king of Trickle Down, Union Busting, pension stripping, contra starting, Proxy Latin American wars and really the beginning of the downsloping shit ride that led directly to Trump. Why anyone sees him as a hero is beyond me. Why the party that claims to be aligned with progressive liberal politics would think it is good to be aligned in anyway with that dirt bag is inconceivable.

Reagan was terrible in many ways.  And sometimes I hate how Democrats lionize him now as "too liberal for today's GOP" because it's not true. But he was enormously popular and for all of his flaws he (and Carter, and Bush, and Bush, and Clinton, and Obama) genuinely wanted to unite the country.  It's not about moving the party right...it's about removing a destructive force. The GOP is "party first." Let's not be.

Biden, not a great candidate, is not going to turn the Democrats into the GOP.  Don't let great be the enemy of good.  Get back to "good" and then get "great."

try focusing on the message and less on the messenger ffs.

I'll remind you of fucksticks claim to be the next reagan. Flaws and all Reagan was a statesman, being presidential when it was needed. willing to work with O'neal. Everything fuckstick wishes he were but isnt in this lifetime or the next.

the beauty in this is they are using a republican god figure to highlight trumps failings and by extension the party of today.... before Gingrich gained his power and set us openly on the path we are on now....

They're just trying to woo Reagan Republicans by moving them away from Trump. From your perspective, I'd only be concerned if Biden was aligning himself with Reagan in crafting his platform. Otherwise if you can use that sort of message to get people to vote for you without compromising your agenda, that's a win.

After the dust settles from this election there is going to be a Gordian knot of Republican and Democrat interests intersecting and intertwining that is going to have to be swiftly cut.  As soon as Biden wins, so called republicans against trump don’t get to stand around and get patted on the back as saviors of democracy and the Democratic Party.  Last time a truly horrible Republican president left the office in disgrace(Nixon), the Democratic Party welcomed moderate republicans with open arms which helped drift the national discourse further right.  Please let’s not do that again.
