Those who might think that Team Trump Treason calling military folks losers and suckers is going to go away are making a mistake. This isn’t going away. Retired military, many 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation and Gold Star families are pissed. This is going to follow Team Trump Treason into and through the debates and up to Election Day. Look for heavy advertising regarding this issue in markets with a high % of military, both active duty and retired. Places like NC, FL, NV, VA, etc. His past comments are going to get lots of air time.
Fox News confirmation was interesting.
Kelly's son was killed in Afghanistan. He needs to go public if it was him.

Meh it’s really all allegations without someone credible corroborating that he made those statements. If no one cared when he actually talked shit on McCain I don’t see an uncorroborated statement hurting him.

It’s not just the McCain statement though. It’s families of soldiers killed in the line of duty, it’s the Khan family statement and blowing off honoring US war dead on Remembrance Day. Veterans are pissed. As are families of the fallen.

Looks like not much has changed in the 15 years since I had to live near these people.
If I’m being honest, I don’t see how I wouldn’t have gone out and partied if my school was still open as an 18-21 year old. I blame the school more than the kids...

My son's school is sending everyone home this weekend. There were 500 cases, although only freshman live on campus so most were from the apartments and such. My son missed his senior year, prom, graduation and now is getting sent home his second week in college. And to top it off, we're fairly sure he has it. Coming home tomorrow.

Yea, the 16 to 22 year olds are really getting hosed on missing out on those once in a life time experiences. Hopefully they’ll be better for it. Fucked up times.
I’ve had one dine in restaurant meal and haven’t sat at a bar since March. But I did buy a bicycle so there’s that. Still have my health but jeez, 410,000 dead by the holidays and I’m hoping it’s nobody on here or their families/loved ones. Crazy.

In Barr, Trump has powerful ally for challenging mail voting
By ERIC TUCKER
Yesterday
WASHINGTON (AP) — As President Donald Trump sows doubt about the legitimacy of the 2020 election, he’s found a powerful partner in Attorney General William Barr.
Like Trump, Barr has repeatedly sounded alarms about the November vote despite a lack of evidence pointing to pervasive problems with the process.
That’s important — and worrisome to Democrats — because Barr is no ordinary Cabinet member. As head of the Justice Department, he can shape investigations into election interference and voting fraud. Though the department doesn't oversee elections, it could inject itself into court fights over disputed contests. And any statements from America’s top law enforcement officer questioning election results could further shake public confidence in the vote at a time of widespread disinformation and rumors.
“Those who think that Barr is watching over the interests of Trump rather than the interests of the country have reason to be concerned that he would weaponize the Justice Department’s investigative authority to help Trump at least politically, if not legally, in any post-election challenge,” said Richard Hasen, an election law expert at the University of California, Irvine.

No, the students are to blame. They aren't kids. They are adults that know better but are selfish. Not everyone needed to get wasted every weekend in college.

Sounds like someone was never invited to the party.
This is a good breakdown of why Team Trump Treason’s denigrating the military is going to hurt him and be an issue going forward. It’s never been a one off gaffe. There’s too many instances that we’ve witnessed with what’s been reported privately. And they’re all plausible.
Captain Sully is speaking out about Team Trump Treason’s military comments now, encouraging folks to vote Sleepy Woke Joe.

I know I'm biased, but I feel like Biden is having a strong week, negating any positives coming from the RNC. Good speech in Pitt with good press Good poll numbers, generally Wisconsin trip was good, with him doing and saying the right things. Trump was Trump, which is usually good for us.
While I share your bias, in theory, I'm obviously biased the other way some...
I think he's had a solid week, as well, at least qualitatively. He still seems old, since he is, but he's not nearly as "foot in the grave" as I thought he'd be. If he can keep this up, that's a good thing. He waited for the actual president to do his Wisconsin song-and-dance so as not to get in his way and visited afterward. Was it PR? Yeah, but that doesn't negate it from being rooted in true concern and compassion. The DNC did a great job of humanizing him and when you look at those kinds of human traits, it should be obvious to everyone which guy cares and which guy is a miserable, loathsome human being.
If the whole "where's Joe?" BS can be done away with and he can continue to hit Trump with some force while mixing in character and actual plans, he'll be moving in the right direction.
Between the devotion of the followers and the not-even-veiled cheating, I don't feel confident, but Biden is doing what he can do fairly well at this point.
The plan was always to lie low until the convention and then hit the road. So I think he's in good shape for November. Trump and team continue to insult him, thereby lowering the bar for him to exceed. This is true about his age, his cognitive abilities, his speaking and 'hiding in the basement'. You even had the same thought with your 'foot in the grave' comment. Now did you get that from watching him in teh debates? Or was it from Trump, far left wing during the primaries, etc.? I think his first debate was rusty, but after that he was really strong. And he took the brunt of the body blows.
Biden needs to hit the road a lot more and figure out a way to have voters in attendance. He needs to hammer the six swing states plus a couple states trump almost won like MN.
And when Biden goes to one of the six swing states, like he did with PA, he needs to stop “pulling a Hillary” and visit liberal enclaves. He spoke in Pittsburgh. He needs to go to swing areas of swing states. Campaigning in Pitt or philly or Miami is like doing it in NY. Go to the red regions outside of Pitt.
sure some of that will help GOTV but Biden needs to communicate with parts of the country with the trump signs and pull down some of that vote. Try to lose 65/35 as opposed to 80/20. That’s what made Obama genius.
Yeah I don't think I agree with you. He went to a working class part of Pitt, in western PA. That's not really a liberal enclave. It's not like he spoke at Carnegie Mellon. There's no point in going to a rural county. You still have to go where people live which is generally going to be urban areas. The question is where in the urban areas do you go.
That weird, I read he did give the speech at Carnegie Mellon. Either way, It was in the city which is about the only west PA county to vote for Hillary.
Since Biden is doing very few public appearances he needs to be more surgical on location. He needs to hit swing locations, not swing states. Best bet is to campaign in Obama Trump counties.
So this is stuff that is floating around on LinkedIn....these guys are all in against Biden even if they don’t love trump..because the socialists are coming.

They still vote and there are still a lot of them unfortunately. I agree about LinkedIn not being the place for political posts, but it still comes up more often than it should and quite often in trumps favor....
