    The Trump campaign will continue to try to make this election a choice, not a referendum.  But Trump is so outsized in his personality, so prone to suck out the oxygen, such a narcissist, I think it's a fruitless battle for this team.  He'd never let it happen either.  Win or lose, he must be the center.

    Looking good, Donny! Keep in mind, these poll results were prior to the latest revelation about Trump's treasonous actions. I can't imagine the GOP will suddenly fall back into line after that report. I'm hoping at least a few of the red hats still love 'Merica in a way that's more fundamental than waving an enemy Confederate flag.

    I bet in retrospect, the Republicans probably feel like they should have turned on him during the impeachment. Get rid of him, have Pence be a totally normal Republican president, pass some conservative legislation, appoint some judges, and move on from the whole Trump fiasco. Does Pence win re-election? Probably not, but at least they wouldn’t have all sold their souls to the devil. And for what? To own the libs? Would Hillary really have been that bad? At least you know what you’re getting with her. Trump knows no bounds.

    they have waited so long for him to normalize and to be able to help them out in their re-election bids that they are now in serious trouble. trump is not normalizing, and they are going to have to run away from him instead of have him campaign for them. his endorsement is basically electoral murder at this point.
