The media if it is a true friend of the people needs to stop treating him with the respect of his office. The time for that is over. Respect is earned. He has had his time and we need more than just the prime time talking heads to be calling out the BS and calling it out hard. Fascist, wanna be dictator, authoritarian, oligarch. All of these terms need to be heavily used.
i think part of the problem with doing that is there would be a massive backlash that trump himself started. they'd be considered the left version of fox news. anderson cooper has done some of that from what i've seen, however.

It's godawful. Oh, and they are rallies rather than protests because they are just rallying to maintain the status quo. The latest is to maintain the status quo of police brutality on black bodies, or what they call blue lives matter. If they do the same thing this week, my idea is to take my towheaded (Aryan enough) kids out with me, hook up to the church's outdoor electrical outlet, and we blast N.W.A.'s "Fuck the Police" back at them with all we've got. Might need to borrow some PA equipment!

The whole state also has a pretty damn dark past of racism. The town I live in was a sundown town and chased Bill Russell from buying a house here.

I still think if he wins it has more to do with white people being racist and looking for an out. If some rioting and looting taking place under the current administration is enough to swing someones vote, they were looking for a guilt free way to vote Trump and all he stands for.
