This movie was pre-internet so we used it as a learning tool on what mountain climbing equipment to buy.Spiritual_Chaos said:IM GONNA WATCH CLIFFHANGER NOW. RENNY HARLIN WOOHOO. YOU CANT STOP ME

Last night I watched a documentary about the band The Slits on Amazon. I didn't know too much about them.

Existential themes of emptiness and disconnect. Non-linear narrative that does not rely on typical cause/effect to propel the film. Murray's minimalist acting, yet distinctly Bill Murray. Unconventional romance that defies social norms.tempo_n_groove said:

The revenge scene at the bar at the end felt a tad forced, but other than that BKM is FLAWLESS.tempo_n_groove said:Bristow 05132010 to Amsterdam 2 061320180

Doesn’t this poor fuck make these incredibly shitty movies to pay off IRS DEBT? Man it’s funny when people squander tens of millions of dollarsSpiritual_Chaos said: 0 0

Interesting. That is a very artsy way to say that the movie was boring.Hobbes said:

 Thanks.
All seriousness, I did not care for this movie at all. Almost 20 years later I wonder if I will have a different view? Maybe I will revisit it.
EDIT: I want to add that most critics thought the karaoke scene was something special so I couldn't wait to see it and when I did I was very disappointed...Post edited by tempo_n_groove on0

Yes, but in between the pure cash driven stuff he finds the time to be in reasonable stuff (Like this, and Joe, and doing a voice in the Spiderverse movie). Not saying Color out of Space was a masterpiece, but I didn't put it on with the reason to laugh at Cages poor life choices.CROJAM95 said:

Seems him starting doing all kinds of shit was around 2010, Before that he had the National Treasure movies which were Bruckheimer-produced wide releases.
Gonna watch Mandy next, to keep supporting Nicholas Cage:
