Caught the morning showing today. Tom and Jodie’s accents drove me crazy, but other than that it was an enjoyable watch

    Surprisingly not good:

Amazing experience. Anyone not watching it in the cinema is missing out:

Late night is on my list..bad??..
I thought it totally missed the strength/cleverness of the concept.

I totally agree. It fell flat, but it had potential.

I'm depressed now. Not a bad movie though, and I always enjoy Zac Efron.

Good looking but stiff and unexciting.

Behind Miles Morales Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy Spider-Woman various other Spider-People from the Spider-Society exit out of a portal into New York City with an image of Miguel OHara Spider-Man 2099 in the background

Very well done and animated. Wonder when the second part comes out?

Just saw this in the theatre

    HEIL SATAN
    AR-CHAN-GEL—O

I only heard this exists after researching yesterday’s Cinematrix. 🤓 Would you say it‘s worth a shot for the uninitiated like me?

It's very entertaining as straight up, regular concert film (albeit a bit fast cut at times) with Ghost's biggest hits.
The intertwined story-bits (played as comedy skits) didn't do much for me (not my humor and felt youtube-production cheap) and I don't care about the ways they do the "lore narrative of the band".

For an uninitiated I think you will get a great concert on a big screen. And maybe you will find it funny too with the short comedy bits. Or you will feel like you are just missing a bit of the concert when they are shown.

Thanks, I‘ll check if there are any screenings around here…

What's the best regular cinema (and/or IMAX) in LA?

And what cinemas outside of Tarantinos are showing old 35mm prints?

We took my family last April. It’s good. We have a dog now, so it was hitting all the feels for them.

That’s right! I looked up the real story. Good thing Wahlberg does try a Swedish accent.

    Haha. He does?

I wanted to catch the new Costner EPIC... I think it opens on the 28th... but hard to convince everyone to sit through 3 hours of western.

My local Alamo Drafthouse played "Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade" last week, so I went with my brother and some friends. I need to watch "Dial Of Destiny" to close the loop. Heard it was meh.

Oh man. Autocorrect. He does NOT try a Swedish accent! 😆

It would be hilarious if he did try it. I feel like Wahlberg has his own accent all to himself.

Saw this last night with my niece and her friend. May or may not have teared up a bit 😬
