You can watch a lot of the CHAZ streams via Twitch, later on each day. (The Woke channel is pretty good for amalgamating and covering on-the-ground footage of worldwide - and especially Seattle and Portland - protests.) Occasionally there are feeds from Raz Simone, so you can make up your own mind objectively about the true extent of his role in the CHAZ community.
I went to Twitch and searched CHAZ, WOKE, and Raz Simone and came up empty each time.
    https://www.twitch.tv/woke
Try this. It usually comes on, mid-afternoon PST. (Raz broadcasts on Facebook Live, btw, and Woke might carry the stream if it's interesting.)

Here's a list of current online protest streams:

So eventually that area will have to go back to normal right?  You can't secede from the city and become it's own thing.

Thin king out loud about what was going to happen eventually?

This is the thread I needed. Left wing lunacy finally killed Seattle. Glad I was there in 2018. Any future visits will be fully armed, I have my Glorifies Gs, do you have yours? I bet the Capitol Hill guys are really proud...
The band should be denouncing this lunacy any day now.
Yes, please stay home in your bunker cradling your guns. It is definitely too crazy here for someone as apparently fragile as you seem to be. Thanks.

If Seattle falls in the state of Washington and nobody sees it, does it make a noise?
    It's a hopeless situation...

Impressive that Seattle held out this long. America fell years ago.

We drove past the CHOP entrance at - I think - 12th and Pine yesterday, when we were in town. I could see a lot of people, touristy types mainly, taking selfies at the barricades. When we carried on driving around Capitol Hill, I could see that quite a few of the local businesses such as the bars were open and doing good trade (maybe even out of the increased foot traffic). I don't know what the CHOP area is really like at night but it certainly didn't look at all menacing in the daytime.

I wonder if it will be like San Francisco's Haight Ashbury was (and even to an extent, still is) in the 60's and will draw young people from all across the country and even the world?  Young people looking for something new, curious to experience something different?  This could be the beginning of a new cultural era.  If so, I say, good!  It's about time!  The hippie/ black power era followed closely on the heals of the beats.  It's taken a long time for a new cultural evolution to unfold.

Is Pearl Jam one of the house bands playing as you enter the Utopian country known as as CHOP? Ya know like when you use to be able to go to ballgames & there is a pep band playing in the foyer.
Literally the blackout is now going through the cities.  And W is nowhere around what happened?

Not cool to see those images- not to me anyway.  Clearly, not social movement is ever going to be 100% perfect.

But what percentage of people in CHOP do you suppose are armed (minus those with permits to carry- not that I'm a fan of people being armed), this is, after all, Washington we're talking about? When I lived there in the early 90's, a person could walk into a feed store with a few hundred bucks and walk out armed.  I saw it happen.

That link was dated the 12th, but I think he said that a few days earlier, maybe the 10th I think. Still pretty ridiculous though. 95% of America knew of it by then, no excuse he didn’t know about it.

I have no clue. I wouldn’t begrudge someone carrying a sidearm for protection, but that guy with the rifle...like you said...not cool. I’m just beyond fascinated by the whole thing. Where is this all going? Could be a powder keg.

In America, a powder keg is always a possibility.  Which would suck because 10's, 100's, maybe even thousands more people would acquire tinnitus at best, be dead at worst.  Both suck.  I'm hoping rather than shit blowing up, CHOP produces some valuable lessons for society or, better yet, change for the better in the way we live.  Sometimes good shit happens.  But we have to have the will to live, or as Neil said, the will to love.

Like I’ve said, forget about left and right. Humans are not civilized enough for this. I can’t see it ending well. It’s amazing how even CHAZ has become a partisan thing. Don’t show anything bad if you’re on this side, show only the bad if you’re on the other. What a weird thing. When the wolves come out, all these “abolish the police” fools will be running for any cop in sight to help out.

Doesn’t seem too responsible....why would they need guns?  They obviously are not doing background checks...
It has been said plenty of times in the gun violence thread that only the police should have firearms...

Washington State is open carry right? And the Faux news photoshop of “armed guards” was proven to be bullshit. Why now, in CHAZ or CHOP, which the right constantly proclaims as lawless, is it an issue for citizens to legally open carry? I’m on the record as being opposed to any side open carrying. It’s like some posters are just dying for blood to be spilled and mayhem to ensue. That said, what’s your point other than there’s guns present? Pretty much like in a lot of America, some places more than others. I guess it’s a lot more like Bundyism and libertarianism then? But next jimjam goes to Seattle, s/he will restore order?
