    yeah that is pretty much the motto of the democratic party at this point. vote blue, no matter who, down the whole ballot.

    Here's the litmus test imho:

    If for some reason Bernie were to actually win the nomination, most Biden supporters would support Bernie. Because while Bernie is clearly the lesser Democratic candidate, he is still better than Trump.

    Bernie supporters have been indoctrined to support Bernie or no one at all. Who does that benefit?

    Some of these may not make sense to people overseas but there are the numbers from yesterday in Aus. Our Government and opposition are working together on this.

    If we were to look at a larger blue state like the one I live in, that tend to provide services to its residents, when you add up all taxes, income fedl state local, fica, property and sales taxes, excise taxes and on... the effective rate is probably close to 50%.

    now let’s add on the cost of college and healthcare, you are probably right at that European rate of 65%

    but Euros don’t have to worry about bankruptcy issues to the extent we do in the states caused by healthcare or excessive college costs. Plus they don’t have slow as crap trains and pot holed roads because their 65% covers infrastructure modernization.

    Not to start a debate on different countries and all that comes with that on this board. And I do not know how accurate this forbes infographic is, but here are at least some numbers. I do not know where the 65% thing comes from.

    Her “diagnosis”. 

    When it was being used to push the right’s  agenda, it was immediately dismissed. This should be just as swiftly dismissed.
