(That last option is kinda depressing thinking the future would be the same a year from now... but anyway...)
What I am asking is there any hope this will be better by the fall?
Should I just go now while Disney cruise has no cases and there are free ventilators?

It would be nice to plan a PJ Sunday after September cruise and maybe even see what SeaWorld is like... It just seems like more planning travel amongst uncertainty isn't the way to go.Post edited by Spunkie onI was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef

It's not worth $2000 to a multi-million $ travel company to do something like this.... If they do a lot of business with the school district, then I"m guessing the loss of 2k is not worth losing all district business.. Best info yet.Well worth watching the whole video. This is the best info I've found yet and Osterholm's credentials are excellent. Highly recommended.Yeah, pretty intense stuff. Maybe not a good idea to watch this before going to bed like I did. Getting good sleep is one of the best things one can do right now. I'm a walking zombie today. But I did take my vitamins and supplements this morning!
Great guest, but it's funny watching him waste five minutes on something so stupid. But I guess it's nice to have someone kill the stupid myths.

An ordinary thought experiment reads like this. A water lily grows in a lake and doubles the area it covers for each day.Day 50 is the whole lake covered. When is half the lake covered? The answer is day 49.Washington had 162 confirmed cases yesterday. But the fear is great that the figure is considerably higher."If we have 1,000 infected today, we can have 64,000 infected in Washington in seven, eight weeks," says Inslee. With such figures, healthcare will be subjected to extreme pressure. The most severely ill need respiratory care. And it's only in Washington. The disease has spread to at least 36 states in the United States. In the state of New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo has called the National Guard. The United States is also a country where 27 million lack health insurance. Many receive no compensation if they stay home sick from work. So what do you do if you feel a little cranky and staying at home will cost you $ 100?
/.../This is a worst-case scenario that Inslee paints. The British government has also painted such and, at worst, fears half a million dead in the UK. German Chancellor Angela Merkel says that in the worst case scenario, 70 percent of Germans can become infected, 58 million. But developments in East Asia offer a more positive scenario. It is not just China - with its draconian measures - that has turned the numbers down.South Korea and Singapore also appear to have succeeded without quarantining entire cities or regions. Information, extensive testing, hand washing, keeping distance from other people also give results and the numbers are pointing down now.So yes, the exponential curve will of course be broken. The question is just how high the top will be.

WA State's governor has said declared no gatherings of 250 or more people. That includes sporting, religious and cultural events. So no concerts, Mariners, Sounders, college basketball games, XFL games, etc... won't happen, or at least won't happen in front of a crowd. I've heard it could be lowered as things get worse. We are up to 190 cases and 22 deaths in my county, so they're putting the hammer down on events that bring people together."I'll use the magic word - let's just shut the fuck up, please." I agree, it could be slow down in summer, start up in fall, possibly, although they say SARS was not seasonal.
At least if I went next week, I have the time to social distance for 14 days after if not quarantined. Are the resources overwhelmed here and now. I think I'd be getting ahead of the peak and at least have the peace of mind of knowing where we stand currently.I was swimming in the Great Barrier Reef
