    Yes. We can't contain it, but we can certainly slow things with social distancing. Our healthcare system is already becoming overwhelmed and we're just getting started.

    Ohana Fest. But yes, by the fall the number of new cases should be declining significantly and we should be back to operating normally or in our new normal. Universities are canceling classes or campus activities through the end of May. They’re operating on WHO and CDC assessments. Rebook for fall and catch Ohana coming or going.

    It would be nice to plan a PJ Sunday after September cruise and maybe even see what SeaWorld is like... It just seems like more planning travel amongst uncertainty isn't the way to go.

    It's not worth $2000 to a multi-million $ travel company to do something like this.... If they do a lot of business with the school district, then I"m guessing the loss of 2k is not worth losing all district business..  So calling BS ::shrug::

    2k per kid, times however many kids. Maybe 100, maybe more? I don't know. That could add up to be a lot of money though. I'm sure they will reach some sort of comprimise.. Refunding their fee and at least some of the expenses. Usually this costs includes tips and food and other stuff they should easily get refunded or just not have to pay out in advance.

    WA State's governor has said declared no gatherings of 250 or more people. That includes sporting, religious and cultural events. So no concerts, Mariners, Sounders, college basketball games, XFL games, etc... won't happen, or at least won't happen in front of a crowd. I've heard it could be lowered as things get worse. We are up to 190 cases and 22 deaths in my county, so they're putting the hammer down on events that bring people together.

    I agree, it could be slow down in summer, start up in fall, possibly, although they say SARS was not seasonal.

    At least if I went next week, I have the time to social distance for 14 days after if not quarantined. Are the resources overwhelmed here and now. I think I'd be getting ahead of the peak and at least have the peace of mind of knowing where we stand currently.
