    The virus has reached my hometown of Trollhättan. Worried about my parents a bit. Both is getting up there in age. And mom works in a restaurant so she runs into a lot of people. And dad has had some lung problems in the past.

    Seriously, our thoughts are with you and your family.  I hope your mother can stay away from work for some time.  My mother is in a nursing home and I'm quite worried about her.  She's 87, and while healthy, that's not exactly spry.

    People comparing this to the flu have no idea what they are talking about and I wish they showed just a little bit of intellectual curiosity to better inform and prepare themselves.

    all four members of our HR team this morning, one a VP, were saying "it's the fucking flu". I had to inform them that it is, indeed, not the flu. I'm now just a tad concerned that they will be in the room discussing possible measures to keep staff safe, and they are horribly misinformed.
