Please remember we all love music amd we all want to see the band play.

Everyone is disappointed. Let's turn this thread around! Apologize for engaging in turning this political.
"And these days, they linger on, yeah, yeah
And in the night, I've been waiting for
A real possibility that I may meet you in my dreams
I go to sleep"

The comments here are sad, pathetic, disgusting, etc. people are dead, and your biggest concern is if I’m going to see Pearl Jam.0

Blaming the government for lack of information? The information is there, its just not being reported, you know like H1N1 when thousands of Americans died before our administration at the time considered it a crisis. Nobody canceled anything, the market didn't change, I wonder why? PJ, does draw a lot of travelers though so I guess I understand. Bummer.

"We’ve worked hard with all our management and business associates to find other solutions or options but the levels of risk to our audience and their communities is simply too high for our comfort level. Add to that we also have a unique group of passionate fans who travel far and wide. We’ve always been humbled by this and respect their energies and devotion. However in this case, travel is something to avoid. It certainly hasn’t helped that there’s been no clear messages from our government regarding people’s safety and our ability to go to work. Having no examples of our national health department’s ability to get ahead of this, we have no reason to believe that it will be under control in the coming weeks ahead. "
I disagree that they're "blaming the government", and I don't see how you can disagree with that portion of the statement even. Read that paragraph and tell me where it's false.
I feel for anyone who is losing money as a result, or may not be able to make the rescheduled dates. That sucks.PJ is seeing firsthand what’s happening in Seattle... I trust their judgement.
Defensive Trump supporters should stfu, he’s bungled this every step of the way.
and every other BS term that has managed to insert the Left vs Right paradigm into every facet of our lives?
Not everything needs to be politicized
The biggest snowflakes in this thread are the ones whining about how Pearl Jam mentioned the lack of clear messaging from our government in response to this.
Considering it was less than a week ago that Dear Leader suggested “thousands, or even hundreds of thousands” are getting better by “just sitting around or even going to work”, I think it’s a very valid complaint for the band, or any other American to make.https://twitter.com/politidope/status/1235415582931066880?s=21
It’s ok to say this administration bungled the response to this. It’s also reality.0 -
Can't imagine how difficult it must have been to make this decision. Was looking forward to MSG but this was the right call.0

I am soooo glad I chose to do local shows. I’ve got tix to Germany but no plane ticket yet which is good.0

I’m fine with whatever they decided. Could have done without the political side swipe. Makes Ed look small other than to his sycophants. But that’s fine too. Who knows? Maybe Ed is really an 80 yo with respiratory issues. He should stop smoking. Maybe that’s some good that comes out of this. That and people finally washing their fucking hands.
Going to The Garden tonight to enjoyThe Brothers 50th Anniversary show. Not the least bit worried. Maybe there will be less traffic heading to the city because of all the people panicking. Everyone stay home because you don’t like the President.Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.0 -

Yup, I was waiting for this...
Yeah I am a bit concerned about the tickets as well but then letter said that Ticketmaster will be in contact so I guess we'll see.
