Really hoping those aren’t the real Chicago dates. That’s riot fest weekend.

    So currently we have

    Solid rumours with dates
    Chicago Sept 11th and 13th
    Sea Hear Now. Sept 19-20

    Possibles
    Houston and /or Dallas
    Philly
    Boston
    Cincinnati / Columbus / Cleveland
    Pittsburgh
    Buffalo
    Detroit
    Minnesota
    Winnipeg

    I’m sure I have missed a couple

I'd put Cincinnati at a very long shot.

    Cincinnati last show was 10/1/2014.
    Columbus last show was 5/6/2010.
    Cleveland last show was 5/9/2010.

I haven't heard anything anywhere regarding Cincinnati. All the rumors indicate Columbus or Cleveland...not both and possibly neither, but it seems like "Columbus people" and "Cleveland people" are both in discussions. It'd be great if they played both, but I doubt they will.

Still hoping for an New England & Atlantic Canadian Tour this Fall.

  • Maybe reducing their carbon footprint is also why the tours are shorter for this environment friendly band.

You bring this up very frequently. I live within driving distance and would love for this to be true. Do you info you are not allowed to share and you bring this up as a hint or are you just hoping? With the current shows i would say it may be just a hope

I think Columbus or Cleveland are most likely if they also play Detroit. If there's no Detroit date, Toledo moves into the top spot. We've only had two shows but they were both in Presidential election years.
    Things were different then

Just a hope!  I'm from London and have seen them twice at what was the John Labatt Center, now Bud Gardens.  Both shows were amazing and would love for them to come back.  I'm going to the Hamilton show, have two younger kids now, can't go to as many shows as I used to in the past.
Maybe if I keep posting London every once in a while it will come true!

    London!

Maybe reducing their carbon footprint is also why the tours are shorter for this environment friendly band.
Live-streaming shows would go a long way in accomplishing this.

Found: Soundgarden Hyde Park DVD (Thank you for the gift!)

I'm fairly certain it's because certain members of the band don't like being on the road.  Which makes sense to me.

I've been watching this TV show that is hosted by Brian Johnson from AC/DC.  He spends an episode shooting the shit with people from big rock bands.  Last night he did an episode with Lars from Metallica.

They had this conversation where they talked about how it's exciting when you're super young, but once you get older it becomes challenging.  They talked about how planes can lighten the load and even though that might cost 1.5 shows to get a plan, you might be able to do 30 more because it's less travel time.   Then they talked about touring Europe and setting up temporary residence in paris.  They could have their families there, and it's a small piece of home.  Then they'd fly from Paris, go do the show, then fly back.

I found it really insightful at just how challenging being on the road is, and what the bands that tour heavily have to do to keep themselves going....  it seems it's not easy on anyone.

If we do get the Ohana announcement on Monday that will be the first piece of the fall puzzle confirmed.

Keep in mind that two Chicago shows seem to be strong possibilities.
