Spring tour canceled. It sounds like Euro is still on...for now.

Obviously, any rumors about the fall just got thrown way crazy if they reschedule these dates or keep the fall tour as scheduled, etc...
    Postponed...

The day starts with show announcements and ends with show postponements.

I think the poster meant.. would they schedule a fall tour, if they need to reschedule the spring tour.  IE we might get the spring dates to fall, which would most likely push the fall tour to next year?

Very odd day. Went from the Euphoria of buying Ohana tickets for the first time to now losing out on 5 shows this spring. We’ll see what the rescheduled dates look like.

My guess is they keep everything as planned and rescheduled this tour for spring of next year.  Will probably tell everyone to hang on to their tickets and they announce the rescheduled tour in the coming weeks.  Obviously will give fans the option to get refunds if they so choose.

They've already said that spring tickets will be honored for future dates.

I kind of thought they might postpone to the fall, and then add new legs next year?

Hopefully they do more fall dates than their normal allotment. Let's hope for a normal tour that hits most markets like most bands normally do.

Forget about world series and keeping tours to 15 shows. This is the first major arena cancelation.  Let's do the fans right this fall.

I see them trying to make up some of the dates end of May, and the rest during the Fall. If they’re playing the Midwest and east coast in the Fall, maybe they do the west coast dates in May and mix the rest (Canada, Baltimore, msg, Nashville, St. Louis) in with the Fall.
    2003: Uniondale, MSG x2 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2

I don’t think there is any way they can get dates rebooked as soon as May or even into the summer. Especially without knowing when this virus is going to peak in the US. Hope I’m wrong. Hope I can make whatever the new dates become

I'm thinking Canada before Europe. Then rest of the dates mixed with the two festivals and add some combination of Chicago, Boston, Philly, Pittsburgh, Columbus.

Then what what was to be fall tour ends up being spring/summer 2021.

I don't know. That seems like a pretty quick turnaround. Also, it's possible that things will be worse by the end of May. The last thing they'd want to do is postpone, reschedule, and then postpone again.

Fall dates are likely already set and will be announced when ready. I doubt these rescheduled dates are anytime in the near future. My guess is December at the earliest, if they can fit it in the NBA/NHL schedules.

There is no way the schedule anything that takes place before the Euro tour. Too much of a risk. If I had to guess we will get a tour like 2013 now with it starting a month earlier in September.

The Shows that are postponed will at the very least have to have new dates scheduled BEFORE new dates are scheduled and sold. The two festivals not withstanding. >>... But that doesn't mean that new dates cant be added as the old dates get reaffirmed. They have millions of our dollars, and im sure it is much better to limit refunds as much as possible as logic. Once new shows are added then people who had tickets will make different choices and freeing up capacity. Some of the old shows could be outright canceled, say if the two LA and SD dates are near Ohana.. ETC - its a mess for sure.

They’ll make up the shows before the end of the year. Too many people getting airline credits that end on 12/31.

By the way, does this mean MSG x2 or x3??

Trying to speculate when dates will be rescheduled is kind of pointless.  I can't fathom them putting anything in stone at this time. They had to go ahead with the Sea Hear Now and Ohana announcement, but they would be absolutely steamrolled if they attempted to announce and sell tickets for a fall tour when their is no obvious resolution to the tour they just "postponed".

I'd have zero problem with them announcing and selling the fall tour before announcing the new dates for the postponed shows.  But then again I also understand all the fall dates are already booked and planned, while the postponed ones will take significant time to reschedule.

They posted on Twitter. I wouldn't read much into it - of course they want to re-book the show as soon as possible. Why wouldn't they? I checked a few other arenas, and nothing. Bridgestone retweeted PJ's thread and promsied "more information as it becomes available".

It does somewhat work out in their favor that they have Festivals booked on both the East and west coast.  Could make routing easier for the California and the East Coast/Canada shows.

Certainly starting to feel like the postponed shows will be squeezed into the Fall Tour somehow

It’s possible some of the postponed dates might be included in the fall tour.  For instance... maybe it was planned to do another date at MSG in the fall but instead of selling new tickets they will just honor the old tickets for the new date already on hold.
