If a person has 2 10C tickets, can they purchase two more in the F2F and then sell their 10C tickets via F2F?
    Yes
  • So because I want to try to trade two GA tix to someone with (really good; ) seats, I'll have to actually meet up with them and fuck around with the logistics? Which will be kind of a pain because I imagine they're going to want to go in a hell of a lot earlier than I will!

Meaning it would be really nice if there were some sort of direct fan-to-fan exchange
  • in the ticket exchange can i sell two TC tickets if i cant go? also: its not neccesary that the buyer of a single ticket has to enter with the seller?

Yes you can. Once you sell your tickets you have no ties to them and they are out of your hands.

I get that but if they did this then side deals would be happening all of the time above face on top of the sale price. I really wish we could trade and help each other out more but aside from timing F2F with someone we are really limited. Those seats are not QBC or TO by chance?

I mean if there was a way to sell tickets for face value through this exchange to a *specific person* it would be ideal but I don't think that's how it works. Like if I have an extra pair for a show and would happily sell them at face to someone from the boards, I could just directly transfer to that e-mail for face value. But I suspect if you list through this exchange it's first come first serve for whoever wants them.
You can still sell for face to someone on the forum here. You just have to meet up with them outside the show, as people have been doing for years with paper/will-call tickets.
True - but that creates an extra hassle for me when I could just list them on the Exchange and not have to worry about the logistics of that.

OP here. I got a reply email from Ticketmaster:

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for contacting us!

The tickets are sold out for that event. You do not need to register for anything to be able to purchase fan to fan resale tickets. Once the tickets are made available to be re-sold, you will simply be able to purchase the available resale tickets like you would a normal ticket. The only difference is that another fan is posting them back for sale at a price of their own choosing.

Have additional questions? Just reply to this email and we'll be back in touch, or you can find answers on the spot in our FAQs.

    Your fellow fan,

Have a minute? Let us know how we're doing.

The bold & italic is my stressing. I hope "a price at their own choosing" doesn't mean this is going to be a Scalp-O-Rama.

Yeah, that's how it normally works. Either Joshua is not up to speed on the specifics for Pearl Jam or is explaining how it will work for New York specifically.

Agreed. No need to overthink this.

I guess Josh isn't up to speed. I told him I was interested in a Baltimore ticket.

    Oh well...

I read in an article that was dissecting this new system that you could post them below face as well. Curious if that will be the case. That would onl matter in a couple of markets though as I suspect everything else will be almost instantly grabbed.
  • Trying to score 3 for Baltimore.  Taking wife & son so need 3.  As 2 is max on 10c have to go thru TM. Got shut out on presale.  Hoping to find 3 anywhere in the building!
  • Hoping Baltimore gets some openings. Was so excited to buy tickets as a Birthday Present for myself as the concert right around my b-day, but ticketmaster decided to act lovely and I got shut out. I'm just gonna be optimistic and hope for the best! Even scoring one would be awesome.

I am going to try to get a couple for OKC on the F2F. Currently there still tickets for the show on Ticketmaster, but only behind the stage. I am going to try to find something on the exchange in front of the stage, and if nothing materializes, purchase behind the stage as an emergency back up plan. As long as those ones don't sell out too.
  • Looking for 1 ticket to Toronto. Can’t find anywhere. Thanks!!!
  • Also need 2 tickets for nyc. The prices on stubHub are ridiculous!!!
  • Need 2 LA both shows please.
  • If anyone is looking to exchange their GA for seats, I have two tickets for Toronto section 119 row 27 (Stone’s side).
  • I'm looking for 2 GA for LA 4/16. I have 2 in Sec 134, Row 10. I'm hoping there will be a trade option.
