Show up to the polls; vote for what/who you want; don't vote for what/who you don't want.dignin said:

 I can't wait.
Fairly simple process. Your other votes aren't voided if you leave a couple of line items blank. No one should feel compelled to vote for anyone or anything just because of a silly nursery rhyme or because someone calls them a baby if they don't.
Oh, and hope against hope that we don't have another hostile takeover of our elections by foreign adversaries.I SAW PEARL JAM0

They should feel compelled to vote for whoever is running against Trump (unless they like Trump of course) because he is exponentially worse than any of the democratic candidates running, by any measure, plain and simple. It has nothing to do with a nursery rhyme.dankind said:

If a voter leaves that voting line blank or for a 3rd party that is a vote for status quo.

I've always held to this dankind, but 2020 for me is the exception. I'll vote for whichever Democratic candidate wins the Primary, hope to god they win, and then hope I never have to make a blind choice like that again. Yeah, it sucks.dankind said:

Me, too. I'm sure there are plenty of my posts where I defended voting my conscience. Sounds good in theory. In practice it gave us Trump. I'll be voting for whichever GOP challenger leads the polls in the primary and for whichever Dem candidate is the nominee in the general. My two votes will be against Trump, and for sanity.brianlux said:

December was a very busy time for me, so that might account for my not having noticed this, but now with this head up, I have to wonder what is up with that? The Hill posted a good article that talks about this. Media bias- something to think about:CNN HATES Bernie. CNN makes a ton of money from big pharma. It’s not stop drug commercials on there.
Media companies that survive from advertising hate Bernie. He is looking to kill the golden goose. And the wealthy scare people into disliking him. You won’t keep your doctor. You’ll lie in pain forever waiting for a doctor to treat you, etc.

Not everyone thinks Bernie sucks. And isn't that a rather vague and unnecessarily slanderous summation of Sanders? What has the man done to make you so miserable?

Bernie is playing the hand he was dealt, trying to change the system from within. Better than whining about the system and refusing to participate.
Whether you like him or not I think that's honorable.0
