Hard to properly guess demand if you're only doing one run. They went pretty heavy here and it's feeling like even that might not have been enough. Best move is to supplement this with some colored vinyl runs.Spiritual_Chaos said:
If artists released enough units this would not be a problem.pjl44 said:

So it's artists (Pearl Jam included) who facilitate this "gig economy".0 -
Lets give it a few weeks to make sure it’s sold out before we say they’ve poorly gauged demand.I know PJ is popular, especially in vinyl circles, but 13k is a huge pressing. But yeah, it sucks in the short term that people are flipping these.0

He's just showing the miniscule size of his non-existent pecker.
I'd say what he needs to contract then go do, but I don't want to be shut down by the mods.
May he see the light.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

I believe Jack White once sold over 25 000 copies of his record on vinyl in one week. So I guess that a generational performance like PJ’s could definitely sell 13 000 copies in one day...
may seem like a lot vs the average RSD release (3000 - 5000 copies), but this is not an average release or a simple color variation or reissue. And PJ probably has one of the biggest ratio of vinyl lovers any band has after Jack White’s followers. So yeah, 13 000 copies may have already sold out

Mines 125119. Haven't received a shipping confirmation yet. Got it. Mine's 125201. They're probably working down the list. As someone cited earlier, they probably have one or two people going through the list on a one-by-one basis. As I was able to order, I hope that I get. (I'm also in Canada and a friend who ordered from them in the past said the shipment arrives quickly once sent.)demetrios said:

Yes, one per and they seem to be pretty strict about it. At checkout, the guy congratulated me on getting a copy of unplugged. When I told him I was surprised to see the entire pile gone, he said that several times they had to walk through the store putting back extras from people who were in line with multiple copies.EdsonNascimento said:
Or flippers are counting on a strong after market. Was there a limit at that store? (not that that would matter.)AO253126 said:
Yeah, except last year's was RSD first, not RSD exclusive.PeterED said:
I couldn't find one in the 4 Toronto shows I went into on Friday. But i did see MANY copies of last year's RSD release. I'd bet money they start to show up.Tim Simmons said:
I mean, it’s been 5 days since it was released. More will start popping up. Your last sentence should comfort you. There’s 13000 of these things.Still no 2nd follow up email from Easy St, still no charge to my card. Still patiently searching, as I don't expect they'll come through. Not holding out hope for a club drop either. Everything about this resaid:lease is weird. I've never had this much hassle copping even the most limited of RSD pieces.
When I went into my local shop, they had three fairly large stacks of unplugged on the wall (maybe 60-75 total). When I walked by that wall an hour later, I was surprised to see that they were completely gone. I agree with what some others have said here: this release was in way higher demand than any of us thought it would be.0 -

Neil's the man! I used to hook him up with Wizards tix when I lived there. He sold me a sealed Vs. years ago for $35!jdasilvaf said:So glad I got hooked up with a copy by a friend visiting NYC from DC (he owns/runs Smash Records). On Friday afternoon I went to my go-to indie shop in Brooklyn which caters more to experimental/psych/freejazz and they had already sold 4 of 5 copies within the first 20 mins of opening. I knew this was going to be somewhat hard to get. Had no trouble getting those Gun Club, Devo and The Doors live LPs though. Best of luck to anyone still looking.Pittsburgh, PA September 28, 2005 || Washington, DC June 22, 2008 || Barstow, VA May 13, 2010 || Seattle, WA August 10, 2018 || Dana Point, CA September 29, 2018 (EV) || Dana Point, CA September 28, 2019 (EV) || Dana Point, CA September 25, 2021 (EV) || Dana Point, CA October 1, 2021 || Dana Point, CA October 2, 2021 || Chicago, IL August 29, 2024 || Pittsburgh, PA May 16, 2025 || Pittsburgh, PA May 18, 20250 -

That was a new album though, this is just a live record. Also, people had to go out on Black Friday to get it. While possible its sold out, I don't think its likely. A week or 2 after RSD Bullmoose always gets in a bunch of popular items again. I'm wondering if thats the case with this LP.brianjones said:I believe Jack White once sold over 25 000 copies of his record on vinyl in one week. If you ordered one from Easy Street, I'm sure it will be shipping soon. They still had inventory on the shelf as of last night. They also have Soundgarden artists den on sale for those of you interested.0 -

The run on that record was crazy low (800). My store didn't get a single copy in.cp3iverson said:Should one really brag about making money off of Lisa Loeb? I feel like it’s a cry for help from this young man.

I won’t consider this one a hard one to get until a few more weeks go by myself. It’s a common rsd issue for distribution to get messed up or for certain consistent shops to end up with very little product. It very well may be a super coveted title and demand was huge but to me it’s still a bit early to call. I was lucky to get one from easy street but if I didn’t I wasn’t going to get too stressed, something tells me these will be available for those that wanted themI'm like an opening band for your mom.0

The market will soften, especially after the Christmas rush. I'd say late January early February.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:I won’t consider this one a hard one to get until a few more weeks go by myself.
