    The sad saga is letting something like that get out in public so your opponent has bulletin board material.
    Smart coaches (players too) keep anything like that strictly in house and only show respect for an upcoming opponent to the public.

    Knowing the rules and using them to your advantage is not skirting them (and frankly it was to everyone's advantage to end that game quicker, only thing the Jets might have accomplished with 50 more seconds was getting somebody hurt).
