A November date seems a bit quick to me. Would be awesome and I of course hope for it, but it seems a bit quickI'm like an opening band for your mom.0

new pearl jam album and new headstones album in the same season would make my head explode.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0

Depends on when its done, or how long the album has been done. If it has been mixed and mastered already, I could see November.RoleModelsinBlood31 said:A November date seems a bit quick to me. That marketing meeting we heard about a few weeks ago is fascinating in retrospect.___________________________________________

I know it sounds silly at this point, but i don't want them to feel rushed into releasing an album this year if it isn't ready or the best album they could put out. On the other hand, I don't want them to be so nit-picky that they try to micromanage every aspect of the album and have it eventually sound "overproduced". Looking for a good balance between raw energy and precision in performances with introspective lyrics that can be broadly interpreted. Oh wait, I just described No Code

After nearly six years since LB, no need to fret about them feeling "rushed"pjpjpaul said:I know it sounds silly at this point, but i don't want them to feel rushed into releasing an album this year if it isn't ready or the best album they could put out. Yeah that is why I said it may sound silly at this point but don't forget they did do a few tours in those six years and spent a lot of down time apart doing solo shows or side projects as well as spending time away with family and friends or working with charitable causes. My comment was meant to highlight that although it has been so long between albums, that if they feel like they are going to put something out that isn't as good as it possibly could be if they waited another month or two or three... then they should hold it back and work out the kinks if they need to. Mixing and mastering and overdubs... it can take time to get things sounding just the way a band wants it to sound but I was also getting at the fact that I didn't want that process to take away from the immediacy or raw power of the recordings themselves. Its a balancing act.jjflash said:
