How much is it these days?PJNB said:I am sure the info is right in front of me but can someone explain if it is worth it to do the Tool Army for the presale?
I’ve been a member for approximately 10 years, and with the exception of VIP packages and some exclusive merch, it offers little else for benefits.
I think this is the first time since I’ve been a member that they’ve offered non-vip presale tickets.0 -
I've been in TA since they started it and honestly can't remember. Non-festival shows around me have been so infrequent and presales even more so. I fully expect their website to seize and die on Wednesday.PJNB said:I am sure the info is right in front of me but can someone explain if it is worth it to do the Tool Army for the presale?0 -
$50. I thought in the past they did VIP for like $500 or something like that.Merkin Baller said:

I just did not want to spend the money and they have like 200 presale seats for each venue and thousands trying for it.0 -

The website’s a shit show, and I too expect it to crash. If you want a cool beanie and the chance, I say go for it. If you’re not going for VIP, I personally wouldn’t drop the $50. (They did suggest a very limited # of presale tickets, so my hopes aren’t high there, but what do I know?)PJNB said:

Tool’s website yesterday said there would be a vinyl release at some point, details will follow. I beleive it’s in the big announcement about the album release and tour dates.karl_chihiro said:D.Frank said:Hi there! Is anybody in the know of a vinyl version of Fear Inoculum? Are you hearing any clipping/distortion in the 24bit version?darthvedder said:
Agreed. This is the way to listen to the album. The drumming really shines in Hi-Res audio. I don't know why they bothered with the archaic CD format. If you're going to put out more than 80 minutes of music, it should be done digitally.given2fly23 said:This is a sonic experience in full 24-bit quality on good headphones. My first two listens were through a pair of noise cancelling Beats.
It was beautiful.0 -
FI has sold out of several Boston area Newbury Comics, and those stores told me they got way more copies than they would for a normal release.

Looks like they are doing delayed delivery for the tour tickets, but that's it. Really wish they would get more strict against scalping. Still don't see any prices, but I'm guessing about $150 all-in.

Got mine in the mail today
pretty cool, not sure how many times I’d watch the video screen again but kudos to them for keeping art & packaging alive
lyric book art very nice0 -
Yikes! That's crazy money!
I haven't been able to find one even remotely local to me. Called or stopped by just about every record store and book store in three counties between yesterday and today. None to be found. The Guitar Center here ordered some but their employees bought all of them.
My "pre-order" from Barnes and Noble should be here Tuesday. No big deal though. I've already waited 13 years, what difference does a few more days make?Post edited by dudeman onIf hope can grow from dirt like me, it can be done. - EV0 -
