    Maybe next year Fall. They aren't close to having an album done. How is it going to come out in a month? This isn't Neil young we're talking about

    I don't think it's likely, but we also have no idea how close the album is to being done.

    They announced Lightning Bolt in July 2013 3 months before it was released with hints before hand. No way we get an album out this year and a tour to follow imo with how quiet it is.

    I think most of us have no idea how far along they actually are on the record, but they seem to be doing the traditional release schedule for their stuff (based on the last few records which are both post Radiohead and Beyonce surprise drops), so I'd guess we'll have 3-4 months before it comes out if its done rn. I'm not optimistic for a 2019 release.

    In an interview with Jeff earlier this year he sounded pretty down on current state of the band and its inactivity. Hoping they have since picked things up but Ed hasn't been in Seattle much and if the Cubs make the playoffs we know what that means

    As much as I"d like to see this, there's a lot of speculation here. I hate to say it, but it reads like an alternative nation article.

    Following our previous articles, we can now confirm that in these days the band is rehearsing in Seattle some new material for their new highly anticipated 11th album.

    Exactly what is the confirmation?

    That was February and this is now August. Again, we have no idea how close the album is to being done.

    I thought Eddie said during the last Fenway show that it was the last time the band would perform live before they went into studio to work on their album.  Did I hear him correctly?  I did have a couple of beers that night.
