Heck of a race by Max.  Yes, finally an exciting race ... I was 99% certain F1 would shoot themselves in the foot again by giving a penalty.  I don't think it was a penalty but Leclerc should not have let himself into that position in the first place.  He had a 5 second lead with 10 laps left and nerves / lack of experience cost him the win, not that pass.  He gave that huge lead up way too fast.

I disagree on the Leclerc front, I don't think nerves had anything to do with it (see his fight back on Verstappen's first pass attempt).  The RBR was a lot faster than the Ferrari on those tires (Verstappen's were also fresher).  I read that they put used hard tires on Leclerc at his stop but I can't find actual confirmation of that.

Another great race.... A little bit of everything.  Could this be the beginning of the end for Seb at Ferrari?

Haas needs a new manager.  They don't think American drivers can handle F1 but how hard would it be to match Grosjean's incompetence?

Great race. Amazing how a small bit of weather transforms the sport into something thoroughly enjoyable.

any race that no mercedes ends up on the podium is a good race ... not that I have anything against mercedes other then they are the video game equivalent of cheat mode settings that make for generally boring races

    I agree on both counts
a dry race would have probably been a one/two for Mercedes, maybe Max splitting them
was the same the year Braun ran away with it and Button was champ. Those cars had something ahead of their time or borderline illegal

Vettle almost committed suicide in frustration after spinning out and then burning out into oncoming traffic reentering the track.  The pressure is cracking him ... not a good look in your bosses hometown even though Ferrari has a long, long history of sending young drivers to fiery deaths

I really like the Monza.  Just a beautiful historic track with a great layout of wide open straights and turns meant for passing through the Italy forest

After qualifying I was doubting my passion for F1.  Sunday reminded me.  Brilliant racing and the spectacle that is F1.  Ferrari wins at Monza!

F1 is getting exciting again. The last 4 or 5 races have been great! Lots of new talent rising. Now, if only they could make all the cars a little more equal....
