Races without spectators, hard to imagine!
Even harder to imagine is the venues paying F1's prices without spectators.
Ha!  I've been watching Indycar all my life ... u get used to races without spectators (outside of Indy of course).  =)

My uncle raced open wheels back when CART was the biggest series in the US. It was miles above Nascar. Then came the 1996 split and the series has never recovered. I was at a few races prior to '96 and CART used to fill every venue. It was only after that we began seeing empty racetracks. The last five years have been better, but it will never get back to what it was.

Well that was an interesting start to a strange season.  McLaren and Racing Point look strong! Lando Norris leads Lewis Hamilton by 4 points in the championship. Think about that!

You really did not need to start watching that race until lap 60

this will be one of those years where a team with questionable/borderline legal parts will do very well and run away with it. So Mercedes with their new steering components and Racing Point with whatever they added on. Similar to the year that Braun was first and second in almost every race

expect Hammie and Verstappen to be back, but I do hope Bottas takes the title this year

One second off the pace in qualifying but LeClerc managed second place in a race full of reliability issues and penalties for Hamilton.

The DAC steering system is no double diffuser and already confirmed as legal. What I wonder is whether the black livery is a solar panel delivering more power ;)

    No Ferraris, no party.
On a brighter note, what a finish!... The Pink Panthers (especially Perez) were a true spectacle!

Ferrari cant get out of their own way. Racing Point, McLaren and Renault are all faster than Ferrari.  Boring race until the last 5 laps. Brilliant of Sainz to let Lando go by. McLaren's have real pace. Looking forward to the next one.

the new rule changes cannot come fast enough. 15 of 20 drivers lapped!!!
Looks like Ferraris were cheating last year And much slower this year without their illegal parts

George Russel is going to be pretty good once he gets in a good car based on his qualifying days

Another boring race until the final few laps.
watch to the end , that’s where everything seems to be happening this year

otherwise, is F1 becoming like NASCAR. Everyone watches for a crash, mistake or rain

cannot blame Max for pitting, no way they would have known Hammies troubles on the last lap

    Pretty good race

will Hulkenberg end up with a seat next year?
did very well for sitting out
could see him on Williams, Haas, AR or AT
should even be considered for Racing Point
he or Vettel are better drivers than Stroll, but the family and money get in the way there

What a race! That's the kind of stuff we love to see in this sport. You don't often get a 1-2-3 like that.
