    I'm going in to take a good fucking long look at those parked tanks and the people surrounding them.

    Hopefully that MIC nonsense wont immediately sink up to the wheel wells.  They actually built that shit on a swamp you know. 
    Not very high above sea level.  Or the water table for that matter.  Those things are MAD heavy.

    On a side note, my semi political Instagram account is getting THROTTLED after calling out the bald faced hypocrisy contained in Senator Chuck Grassley, Senator John Cornyn, and Senator Lindsey Graham's posts.

    It seems like many former military leaders are not that happy about the presence of the tanks and what they view as politicizing the military for the benefit of the GOP.

    I think it's more narcissistic from Trump than political from the GOP. The GOP can't really gain any political points from this. I think it's Trump seeing that Kim Jon Un has military-style parades in his honor, and Trump wants one too. It's pretty sad/creepy/pathetic actually.

    True dat.  Don't let Trump take away the country, by giving up the flag.  I've made the same resolution on Jesus and Christianity.  I refuse to let the right wing co-op what Jesus really stood for. (and no, I don't want to get into an argument about either the historical or Son of God Jesus)... just making a point.

    I m not understanding why people are up in arms about a Fourth of July parade with tanks in it. Is this the first time this has ever happened? I have no knowledge of the history of Fourth of July parades.  My Fourth of July is usually spent around the pool while bbq ing with friends and/or family. At night we go and see fireworks.  
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

    I believe it is the first time.  We don't do military parades in this country.  I can't recall there ever being a federal military parade.  People have marched off to war in the Civil War, but htey were literally on their way.  It's what dictatorships and banana republics do to show off their military might.  We don't need to do that.  It's a waste of money as well, along with the damage to the DC streets.
