Might have to do a top 10 instead.  I do think Ænema is my #1, though.  I wouldn't be able to rank beyond that.

Another tip for the Æ in Ænema or Ænima on an iOS keyboard you can hold the a and it’s one of the options.

    Top 5 winging it

    Pushit album version
    Third Eye
    Eon Blue Apocalypse>Patient
    46 & 2
    Lateralus

I used to know almost every song in their catalog on guitar and these were some of the the most fun to play.

Of all the fake track names Tool released for the fake albums "Systema Encéphale" and "Evasion", I'd say my favorite were Lactation, Pain Canal, Alcaharlot, Munge, and Riverchrist.  Honorable mention to Smyrma.

Pumped for this new album..... That break down on "Invincible" around the 9:24 mark is sick (has that Jambi feel to it on the 3:56 mark). Can't wait to crank that shit up. And "Undertow" is a great album, all the way through....

Well, at least we have a date. I wish it wasn't so damn far away though.

How hard do you think it'll be to get the LP (assuming they put the album on wax)?

Very. But I imagine they will as 10000 Days has not had an official vinyl release.

I'd say since this is the last album they are contracted to make, they'll self release more goodies once this new album has been out for a while and all obligations have been fulfilled (might be a while as they will want to lawsuit proof everything given the last few years' events).

Guessing/hoping for the Opiate redo, The Pot video, the video footage from the Lateralus tour as a DVD and the 10000 Days vinyl. Salival II would be fun and I'd also love a Salival I rerelease as the VHS copy I have signed by all four and made out to me is oxidised to hell and obviously an obsolete medium.

As for my top five: jeepers this is hard. Possibly right now:

    The Grudge
    Eulogy
    Rosetta Stoned
    Third Eye
    Flood

An honourable mention to these five:

    Pushit
    Vicarious
    Jerk-Off

    Lateralus

Tool and PJ are my two favourite bands. I'm more emotionally attached to PJ but in terms of consistency with which songs really resonate with me, Tool has the highest ratio.

    Can't wait till 30 August.

Kind of surprised no one put Wings 1 & 2 in their top five.

I usually skip them.  My 10,000 Days goes like this:  Vicarious -> Jambi -> The Pot -> Lost Keys/Rosetta Stoned -> Right In Two.

The show last night good. The venue was great security wise and only saw one issue with people getting removed. Danny had an interesting part coming out of the break that is likely part of a new song. Maynard was pretty funny before stinkfist telling everyone they could tape the song.

I forgot how cathartic it felt to scream along with Maynard on the Opiate EP. I love that album.

No mention of Maynards P as a favorite, huh?
