are we all putting an embargo on any further information!?
Is there any new information out there to be shared?
Nothing more really has happened. Album reviews are out. Unless they announce the real CD/LP pre-order or a tour, seems like that is it till next Friday.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing; I don't expect too much for the next week.
I was on Toolband.com this morning, and had a good laugh seeing all the people who joined Toolarmy in the last few months complaining about the website & shitty fanclub service.

I wish more bands did this type of roll out. Lack of physical options on release is a little annoying but the several month lead up to an album release is dumb.

i wish more bands did what raconteurs did with consolers of the lonely. that was awesome.

I called Newbury Comics a few minutes ago to inquire about the # of copies they would be receiving next week. While he didn't know the exact #, he did say a lot more than normal, and the MSRP was listed @ $49.99. (luckily they usually have new release sales, so I expect it to be $45 at most).
I asked him if he can recall a release with this much buzz around it, and he said Pearl Jam releases are the ones that draw the most interest / buzz.
That could be true the kid seemed to know what it looked like before he opened it. When my copy arrives it's going in the CD player before showing it off.
There is a hilarious thread on the Toolband Reddit right now. Some dude pinched the album from his work and drove off posting if anyone In Vegas could help him upload it. He's at the Mirage waiting to meet a random dude from the thread who is going to do it for him. It's like Ocean's 11. Pretty entertaining and for those so inclined a possibility of hearing the new Tool album in an hour or so.

Haven't read it yet but based on that description I'd say at least a 10% chance that it's Maynard
