one of the reason they kept losing games is he sucked.

trying to guess which players might have been playing video games.  initial thoughts are Franco, Williams and Kingery.  just pure guesses though.

I had him, and dropped him, on my fantasy team.  He did stink it up last year.

I guess it's better to get it out of the way now rather than thinking for two years that it might happen.

Good for the Angels. They paid him accordingly and didn't fuck around with waiting another year. My feeling was if he got to his walk year that he wouldn't entertain an extension.

Agreed. They went about it the right way. And even though Trout to the Phillies was a nice pipedream, I had a feeling that Trout just seems like the type of guy that would be loyal to his team and would try to stay.

I wouldn't say that 100%.  it just means he won't be a free agent. there may come a time where the Angels feel the need to trade him for prospects and/or he wants to leave.

I like Trout, but he could be one of those guys who just likes putting up numbers on a shitty team. Not much pressure in the OC.

Well he did go only 1 for 12 in his only postseason series, an ALDS loss to KC in three games on 2014. But I don't think he likes putting up numbers on a shitty team. I think he'll just always put up numbers and how the rest of the guys around him do will determine the team's fate. I'm sure he'd be eager for the opportunity to improve upon his .083 career postseason batting average and show that he can handle to pressure of the postseason.

I seem to remember rafael palmiero playing for some shit team and refusing a late season trade to a contender. I lost any respect I had for him. Not that I’m equating him with trout, but some guys are just happy putting up numbers for second division teams.

Fuck Fortnite and baseball players playing video games during the games.  Carlos should have attacked those players, not the poor TV.
What the fuck is going on that the manager lets this happen?
(That it is Fortnite makes it even worse to imagine....were the players doing those douchehole dances around the clubhouse while their teammates were out blowing the division lead?)
