    If anything, though, we'll probably go to standard time full-time.  I don't think anyone is up for a 9:00 AM sunrise on December 20.

    I kinda hope for the status quo because I LOVE daylight time.  I just don't see us going to daylight time all-year.  Right now Arizona is in standard time all year - probably because of the heat.  I think there are a few other places (NW Indiana for some reason).  I doubt we'll drag them all to daylight time.

    I hate late sunsets. If it's not dark by 7pm, it just feels fucking weird, and it always has, ever since my parents sent me to bed as a little kid, and it was fucking 2.5 hours before the sun even went down. It's just not right!

    California passed a bill for year round daylight savings time. Washington state is about to do the same (passed in the House, going to vote in Senate). So at least on the west coast there's definitely a movement for year round daylight savings time, which I support. Florida has also passed a bill to stay on daylight savings time. I prefer dark morning and longer evenings. I understand why Arizona might do the opposite, but most states who are voting on permanent time are suggesting staying with daylight savings time.

    Personally, I do like the longer evenings better, but I HATE the transition to waking up an hour earlier.  I could handle a few more dark mornings.  Those two or so weeks after this change suck, though.  I feel like I’m in a daze.

    She should just say the senate won’t convict. I think it was her point. Lots of time and energy for a known outcome
