    Yep. Wed. and Thursday both cancelled already. They’re not f’n around. 
    Well the Post Office has announced that they are halting mail delivery for tomorrow here in Minnesota. The governor hasn’t cancelled school yet though.
    I’m surprised no school cancellations. Chicagoland is basically shutting down. Most businesses included. 
    Schools are cancelled, but it was up to the individual districts to make the call.

    A forecast low of -24° and today and a high of 51° on Monday. Add in wind chill and "real feel" temps and the difference is far greater. Insane!

    Currently -17° and allegedly it feels like -44°.

    I installed a heater in my garage about 10 days ago out of pure coincidence. It's expensive to run but boy was it nice to have this morning!

    Holy fuck is it cold out there.  Just dropped off the little guy at daycare and my face hurts just from walking in and out of there.  Crazy.

    Took the dog out and my nostrils were freezing shut with every breath. Lol. Air temp, wind chill, real feel, blah, blah...they should just call it real f’n cold!

    I let the dog out this morning and he didn't even step off the patio into the backyard.  Just took a piss and ran right back in the house.

    You’re right, Chris. After a point it all feels the same. I’d love to go to Alaska. And I don’t think I’d mind -40 as much there. I mean, it’s Alaska! -40 in Chicago is a whole different story.
