Some incredible pictures there. One of the craziest things I saw was vertical icicles forming from a radon PVC exhaust on my roof. It was bizarre. This is my garage ceiling as well. So glad we’re done with that.

One of my favorite days with my wife was walking out to Navy Pier this past summer.  There was a cute little bar where we sat down for an hour, drinking summer shandy and staring out into Lake Michigan.  It was a perfect moment.  I've seen a lot of aerial pictures over the last few days of that spot and can't believe what it looks like in the winter with all the snow and ice.

It’s 35 here right now and, after the last 4 days, it feels like 70.  I was driving around with the window down and my sleeves rolled up.

High temperatures for the last 8 days:  35, 17, 11, 3, 36, 48, 59, 60 (today)

These are actual temps, not feels like or wind chill, etc.  Those days it was 11 & 3 had "feels like" in the negative teens.

60 degrees yesterday!  I was running in shorts and a t-shirt .

That's interesting.  Is he Canadian or an American Expat?  I never pictured Saskatchewan as a place to move to...the winters are brutal.

Expat.
Grew up in Massachusetts.
Married a woman from Nova Scotia he met at grad school, both got jobs in SK with Ducks Unlimited and settled there.
