Really disappointed in the band for this from a variety of perspectives.
Not so much for the decision, but lack of explanation as to why this decision was made. Through the years there has been zero accountability for the lack of production timelines on these xmas singles.
In addition as fans, we are paying the exact same amount annually, without explanation as to what (if anything) will be replacing it.
Top it all off, on then sharing this news between Christmas and New Years, and it’s a significant hiccup from what we’ve come to expect from the band.I wish 10c would understand how the lack of communication translates directly to their organization that they are leading. The way you communicate (or choose not to), will be judged by stakeholders and reflects back not only on you, but the entire organization you lead.
Not leaving, and likely never will, but really, really disappointed in this decision, and the lack of communication and detail around it, especially over the holidays.0 -
My Analog membership renewed on December 20th. I'm not sure how they can take money for 2019 Analog membership and not fulfill the original promised items. Had I known the full details of what to expect, I might have changed my membership to Digital. I doubt this was a last minute decision. I think it's pretty pathetic to change the structuring of the memberships while the Ten Club is taking time off for the holidays and then with such little explanation. This is a major change and we don't have any additional information(sound familiar?)I don't know how they can take my renewal money and then change what they are offering. That's called stealing.0

As I don't live in the US, the membership and it's "seniority" status has had very little value to me in a number of years due to the band not touring where I live that frequently. I really just kept paying the membership for the vinyl. My renewal is not for a while away so I'll wait to see what the future holds. I'm going to be positive and keep my fingers crossed if we make enough noise about it here they will reconsider this decision.0 -

Will we have different pre-sales depending on our membership? Will the band sell the 10C to Live Nation like other bands like U2 did in the past? We will see.. but I cannot see any good sign right now.Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me -> Stupid Mop -> Estúpida Fregona -> www.estupidafregona.net0 -

This year was the first year the annual single was no longer exclusive to the fanclub as it's also due to be the first single from the forthcoming album and can be bought on iTunes etc.0

What the fuck?

so are they reducing the price of the membership? what's the point of analog if there's no single?

My guess is all memberships are about to become one price... maybe they are bringing on some form of music/video streaming for 10c members like Neil Young has done with his archives site?0

Since you are a member and posting at this time in 2018, your avatar says that you have been a member since 2006 (or perhaps before since I think the forum changed around then), you will still get your 2018 shirt. Your shirt needs to be ordered soon. 1/31/2019 is the last day to order the 2018 shirt.2014: Cincinnati
2016: Lexington and Wrigley 10 -
Sucks but I just downgraded to digital for the first time. I figure with no vinyl it’s not worth the upcharge. If I like the T-shirt then I’ll buy it for twenty bucks and pay the same. This sucks is all I gotta say.

It's not surprising that they decided to end something they obviously didn't care about. But I'm shocked with the lack of explanation for this decision and the fact that decided to announce this only 3 days (!!) before the date. This is something that exists since the very beginning of the band's history and deserved another treatment. Really sad.
Also, we paid for the analog memberships for 2017 and 2018, which included a vinyl single. Are they really saying "tough luck, you're not getting what you paid for"? The mp3 version of the single was already included in the digital membership so the analog members of 10C have been royally screwed over with this decision. I recently renewed my membership but after this I'm obviously downgrading to digital.
Really really disappointed, for what it means and the way this has been dealt with, this is an all-time low point for me regarding PJ.0 -

Members who purchased or renewed their membership at the Analog level in 2017 and/or 2018 will also receive the limited edition vinyl for those years once physical production is complete.
