    I can only imagine, such a waste, and the bad stuff is still available anyway.   School lunches are a waste of time and money. Im all for a programs that help feed kids in school who might not get a meal otherwise, but what is the point? Why waste 1hr+ a day shuffling kids in and out of the cafeteria for slushies , pizza, bosco sticks, ect? The whole thing is just backwards. I understand people need to eat, but there has to be a better way.

    Total waste.  And talk about the added expense to each school district; it got so bad that our lunch program lost over a 125k last year.  
    This program was definitely an overreach by our govt.

    I bet if the people in charge put their brains together they could  provide nutritious food with little waste, be more efficient, have more time for actaul learning, with little or no cost, all while cutting down on their school lunch budgets. I say require kids to bring lunch from home. If not, apples, bananas, oranges, white milk, some sort of purrified water, some sort of snack crackers, be provided throughout the day. To fucking bad if you cant have chocolate milk and swiss cake rolls. Allow students to have a small dry snack in the classroom if they are hungry.
    You get what you get and dont throw a fit! Fuck your disgusting whole grain pizza! Eat an apple, have a cracker. The preperation, distribution(plates, silverware, ranch dressing) and waste must be huge factors in a school lunch program. I say have ready to eat food that doesnt require utensil or ketchup. You dont need a styrofoam tray or plastic fork for an apple. Lol, who knows?

    Pro life until you’re born. 20% of US school age kids live below the poverty line and don’t eat 3 meals a day, with school provided food being the sole meal of the day. Studies show that well fed kids do better in school because they’re not constantly hungry. Never mind the nutrition and brain development aspect of it.     I love when you overreact to a post.  We seriously need to sit down and have beers on the next tour.  My point was, it is an obvious answer.  No shit kids who are hungry don't learn as much.   I mean that is like saying, it's negative 45 outside, you might be cold.  Wow here comes a category 5 hurricane, there might be rain and wind.  You are at a pearl jam concert, you could hear some pearl jam songs.
    Then why the waste comments? Or my kids are well fed and play sports so who needs it? Fuck it’s like all you want to do is piss on those with less rather than help them? I really don’t understand the callouseness? It’s like telling those in Florida, fuck you deal.
    Seriously, what the fuck are you talking about?  I am supposed to feel bad because my wife and I are successful and can afford to feed our kids and have them play sports?  Get off your high horse.  I seriously have no clue what you are talking about.  Yeah I don't want government interfering with what my kids eat at lunch.  I guess that makes me a bad person.
