    I don't understand why 9/11 would seem like "an amazing coincidence" under those circumstances unless you didn't know the history of the US/middle eastern relationship at the time or terrorist activities leading up to it.

    True, but the world's population was only about 320 million at that time, and 5% of that is only 16 million. Stalin was responsible for 20 - 25 million!
