AS much as I dislike trump, this kinda crap is part of what's wrong with america and with our legal system in general. So focused on specific wording rather than the spirit/intent. Trump obviously wasn't saying that. But now we expect the guy that has misspelled and used improper grammar all over twitter since day 1 to be 100% accurate? Please. This is just stupid.
Now - I love Mueller coming out and basically trying to remind everyone that Russian did attack our election and no one is doing anything about it and no one really seems to care. Republicans in denial and democrats care more about trump. Sad.
He even wrote it twice. Deleted the first tweet where he spelled "accusation" as "acquisition" and left the part of Russia helping him alone. And they did help him, obviously.

We expect the very stable genius to speak and communicate with proper English and honestly, not act like a deceptive teenager trying to pull one over on their parents repeatedly. That you’ll give Team Trump Treason a pass for the valid criticism he’s brought on himself through his actions and statements is what’s wrong with America. Sad.
I'm not giving him a pass on anything. I'm just not giving twitter trolls dissecting every word a pass.
It's dumb. It doesn't even matter if Russia helped Trump win. The fact that they tried to interfere at all is what matters. And no one, specifically the current administration, is doing anything about it. That is a bad as it gets, failing to protect the US and our elections from a foreign adversary. Sad. Kinda like you when the cheeto bag is empty.
It DOES matter because that is the one reason Trump is ignoring this very serious issue. He thinks it makes him look like his election was illegitimate. It's why people in his own administration are afraid to bring the subject up around him. It is literally a dereliction of duty .
And by the way, if it was a typo (TWICE!), then still......fuck him. I refuse to normalize such lazy behavior from the most important person in the world. Kids are taught to proof read their work in elementary school before handing in papers. We all look like asses at work if we send typo ridden emails. The president is held to a higher standard than all of us.
Obviously this isn't the most important issue but fuck it. We cannot allow even little shit like this to become normalized.
Here's an excellent (and free to read) assessment of the discovered hard drives that outline how a notorious gerrymanderer ghost wrote the process to explicitly reduce non-white and Hispanic representation from the census. Remember the Constitution specifically calls for a counting of all persons, NOT citizens. https://reason.com/2019/05/30/census-citizenship-question-pushed-for-by-gop-gerrymanderer/

The real concern is whether this help leads Trump to favor Russia in any way. And he certainly comes across like a Russian asset.
I don't believe for one second Trump doesn't owe Russia/Putin something. Is it for election help? Bailing his broke ass out financially? The peepee tape? I don't know...but he's working for them.

What I've noticed is that Trump always seems to hold press conferences with the helicopter preparing for lift off forcing him to have to yell at reporters. Wouldn't it be better to just speak to the media inside the White House?
it would, forus. he cant have that though
why not?
in quieter settings the truth slips out......
haha makes sense.

From Team Trump Treason's Air Force Academy commencement speech:
“You
could have chosen any
school, any career you wanted, but you chose a harder path and a higher calling
to protect and defend the United States of America,” President Donald J. Trump
told the group of nearly 1,000 cadets. “You know what—in the end, it’s better.”

5 Facts: 1. Russia assisted Trump 2. Trump welcomed the assistance 3. Trump obstructed the investigation into Russian assistance 4. Trump stood on stage with Putin and sided with him instead of our intelligence community 5. Trump has done nothing to secure the 2020 elections

I believe that he thinks making his way to a helicopter makes him seem badass, so he deliberately does this for show, and yells like that to highlight how he's about to get in a helicopter like the super cool and very important tough guy he thinks he is.

The main reason he does this is because it’s almost impossible for follow up questions. It looks like a press conference, but it’s really not. By doing this all the time it gives the false impression of being open and transparent.
4. Trump stood on stage with Putin and sided with him instead of our intelligence community
This is the one that drives me nuts the most. Not because Trump did that because it's Trump and this is exactly what I expected the Trump presidency to be. But that fact that his fans think (or at least accept the lie) that he's some patriotic American is maddening. There's nothing less American than the president siding with the likes of the Russian president, North Korean dictator, and Saudi Arabian crown prince over your own intelligence agencies. Couple this with his completely insane treatment of the now dead John McCain, and I just don't understand how anyone can view him as a patriotic right-winger that loves America.

But, but, but Little Rocket Man sends Team Trump Treason love letters.
The producers should start putting a sticker on their products ”this product is now sadly 5% more expensive because of Donald Trump”
This tariff's timing seems to be a deflection.
However - we bitch and moan about other countries stealing jobs and then we bitch and moan about tariffs that try to level the playing field because we have to pay more? Not sure about the mexico tariff but I am mostly aligned with Trump on the China tariffs and discussion. It's the one area that he is actually trying to do the work of a president. The US people don't have the stomach for any hard work anymore.
I admit I have no problem with the trade war with China, since I think that every western nation should boycott China altogether until they get in line in terms of the right to freedom of its citizens, and stop being a totalitarian government with its hands all over international criminality that has a multi-billion dollar impact on our economies, i.e. money laundering and drug trafficking, among other things. The Chinese government is essentially the world's gangland boss. Obviously all of our countries continue to do business with them, eagerly, because of MONEY MONEY MONEY, and to hell with all the drugs and crime their government facilitates around the world, and to hell with the death and misery it brings upon its own people, and to hell with their extreme Big Brother tactics. Money rules as far as any of our own governments are concerned. I do know that complete boycotts on China would create global economic chaos if China refused to get in line very quickly (and maybe it would, who knows). Yes, I am aware it would destroy mega-companies and make things more expensive, etc etc etc. It would be like an economic revolution, and a messy one. But to me it would be worth it, frankly. It would stop this disturbing trend of everyone making China the fast-rising challenger in being the world's ultimate economic and military leader/dominator. I don't want to live in a world where a government like China's essentially rules the world. Fuck that. I can't believe we've all let it get as far as it has, with it being the way it is. This has to fucking stop... preferably without a fucking war with China, because I can't see anyone besides China winning that! Sigh. But I'm not an idiot. None of this will happen, and China will keep handily taking over the world.

I'm not worried about China. I just read that they are becoming addicted to Tim Horton's...that has been the plan all along...get them addicted to Timmies and we will bring them to their knees by the threat of replacing Tims wit Duncan donuts...

For the record, the TPP would have gone a long way to marginalize China. While reducing trade barriers may seem to help the Chinese, strict labor standards along with pay minimums would make the Chinese labor market less desirable, and they were not even included in the talks. Instead, Trump walked away from it (Bernie would have too, and Hillary was bullied into it... all mistakes), and China is now negotiating directly with SE Asia nations and strengthening its hand.
Team Trump Treason standing before the helicopter, waving his little hands around and shouting answers to questions we can't hear are for Faux News sound bites and Faux News sound bites only. Imagine Team Trump Treason answering questions on the stand from a skilled litigator, in a conference room during deposition or the White House with Team Mueller. None of that would be pretty and would be met with babble and, "I don't recall," more often than not. Just a bullshitter BSing his way through his first term, just like he's done his whole life.

I've heard plenty of democrats, and some republicans talk about the need for securing our election system, however they cannot do anything if Mitch Mcconnell continues to ignore the issue. Really sad.
